The place is good from inside. Nice decor. We ordered the fresh strawberry cake and a chocolate cake. Both very out of this world! The strawberry cake was so fresh! The cream in it was very delicious. The chocolate cake had multiple layers in it and each bite was satisfying! Garlic bread was good too, but a bit on the sweeter side. The fries very more oily than usual but packed with flavor! The Dino nuggets were very tasty as well. Definitely recommend this place for the desserts!
Really nice stop on the way north from Vancouver, it's a blend of diner food, and more elevated fare. They take care in the preparation of things, which is welcome. Noodles, not over cooked, eggs, perfectly soft, wonton, if not hand made, quality. The seafood was also generous, and well cooked.
Friendly service. I had a spicy chicken burger. It was so juicy. The heat was nice, not too hot. Probably you could get it without spicy sauce. I tried the Earl Grey cake and it was absolutely amazing. Lovely Earl Grey flavor and not too sweet.
Someone in the kitchen here really cares. Choosing the salad is usually a bad idea, but the house salad here is superb - not too many leaves, great mix of interesting stuff and a fabulous dressing. My companions were all really happy with their meals as well - chicken pasta, turkey and cranberry sandwich and chicken strips. Quirky retro 80s vibe and friendly service.
I already been there about three times, and everything still amazed me. I love there "Hanky's House Burgers", beef patty taste so good and just couldn't forget. Their "Pulled Pork Sandwich" is also taste awesome. And I tried their "Sweet potato cake" today, it's way better than lots of bakery in downtown. Even they located in Hope, still strongly recommend to come there. They are my best choice.
Stopped in on the way north from Vancouver and so happy we stopped. I had an amazing sandwich-Turkey cranberry. Which I wish I can have all the time now. My partner got a loved the burger and my daughter was pleasantly surprised her chicken nuggets were Dino shaped! Can’t wait to go back
Stopped for a quick passing through lunch. Lunch was great. Sandwich could have been maybe a bit more turkey but fries are nice and crispy. Nice little salad.
Passby Hope and see the good rating. It worth the 5-stars reviews. Service are good and food are tasty. Pasta comes with a garlic toast and a salad which is Refreshing
This place was really good. We got the spaghetti with meatballs, seafood pasta, and chicken strips. They were all delicious. The Oreo cheesecake for was amazing! Not too sweet and decadent. Wish we could’ve tried more desserts but we were so full. All very yummy. Too busy eating to take pictures but got one of the dessert.
This is a gem in this part of town. We had an early dinner going home after a long drive from our Okanagan adventure. We missed our rice and Hanky's have ham and shrimp fried rice & beef fried rice similar to bulgogi. Our the food we ordered did not disappoint us. The ambience and the music is inviting. You feel at home dining with them. I highly recommended this restaurant.
