I went to dye Nature Ashe hair color here, and the clerk said that because I had bleached my hair before, there would be a color difference between the newly grown part and the bleached part. But after it’s done, I was shocked, the top half of my hair was brown, and the bottom part was green. no matter which part is completely not the color I chosed. The clerk then said that they can help me dye my hair the same brown with extra cost, are you kidding me, I pay double the price to dye a color that I don't want it at all?? If the color I choose has to be bleached for color, why don't you do that first??? The hair cutting technique is also extremely poor, after the haircut my bangs are completely untidy! Save your money and your hair, do not come to this place

I had Rika as my colorist/dresser and she is wonderful, she is very sweet, always checked in for how my scalp was feeling since I told her it was a bit sensitive from previous bleaching 5 years ago. I wanted a bright light blonde hair but my natural hair color is very much a thick Filipino black hair so I was aware it probably wasn't going to end up as the pictures especially since the references were Caucasian women But it definitely much more beautiful than I imagined and hoped it would be. I 10000000% recommend getting your hair colored here especially with Rika, the price is way better than any other salons I've consulted in. Thank you so so much Rika for my beautiful hair! I booked a haircut for my bf after a friend’s recommendation, and experienced the worst customer service ever in Canada. The hair dresser was just okay in terms of professionalism, and another who seems to be at director level hair dresser was just very rude… I was sitting at a bench next to door the whole time while waiting, because they did not allow me to sit on any of the vacant seats close to my bf. TBH I was going to see how our first experience goes and decide if we want to switch since this one is slightly cheaper. Now I just think I would NEVER come back! It’s cheap for a reason!

Worse than I expected. It is zero communication indeed and they were bad at cutting my bangs. I required a curtain bang but they cut like thisI’m not sure if it is related to my hairdresser or all. Anyway I’m really disappointed.

For the past 10 years, a lot had happened, good or bad, my hair became purple due to the unprofessional treatment during bleaching done by Miyuki and her assistant, still paid $400 plus a good tip because I feel more comfortable with the same environment and people. Not even saying the random bad haircut. But I keep coming back. Lol, until today, got a phone call, a girl asking me about what hair colour and style I would like to get for my next appointment within a week. After a good 10 minutes of talking, the girl suddenly asked me to pay about $50 dollars of cancellation fee, otherwise they can’t take me in. I was shocked. 10 years, I canceled twice, first one was a mistake that I booked with north York location, i apologized and still rescheduled and showed up. Second one cancelled 1 day at least before the appointment. Anyways, understand that as your shop getting busy and some people might cancel or even not show up. But this is not how you should treat your loyal customers. I guess they don’t care either. Lol anyways I will spend my money elsewhere. Never come back again.

Each and every time I get a fresh cut from Kamiya, no matter who does my hair…. I’m always soo happy with the results. I literally had a dozen people compliment my hair the day I got my cut!! Kamiya Hairdressing comes through always! Thank you!!

I had a lovely experience getting my hair dyed here. I had it done with Motoko and she knew exactly what I wanted. I've had some pretty bad salon experiences in the past where the stylist isn't able to get close to the colour I want or doesn't make thoughtful recommendations to protect my hair from the dye, but Motoko really came through! I would highly recommend getting your hair done with her.Service: Hair coloring

Extremely disappointed with the service of Kamiya downtown. I booked a consultation and insisted on getting the coloring service done right after that and was given an appointment in 10 days. I took a day off on the day of my appointment to have ample time to get everything done but was shocked when the lady told me after she was done with the consultation that I need to book an appointment for the service as I was not booked for that. So she kicked me out, kept apologizing and never offered me a solution. I do not recommend this salon for the poor quality of a customer service

Yesterday, I choose a director to cut my a hair and it turns out to be really ugly and the style of hair has nothing related to the picture I showed him, anyways, the director is a man who can speak mandarin and he is cutting my hair too short without communicating with me before, really disappointed!!! Anyways, last time I came here and a woman stylist cut my hair who is really nice and cut my hair in a good style.

I went to Kamiya downtown for the first time and received a hair cut from Rika. She was on time and meticulous to detail. The assistant, Alex, was very kind and welcoming, and the salon was very clean.
