Kalkaska RV Park & Campground

The owner Gail was very friendly and so very helpful. The restrooms are always clean. Really nice area to go bird watching which my wife did. Other campers were friendly also and not rowdy like other places we have been. We will be going back there again. The speed limit in the park is 6mph and is enforced which is great if you have small children playing. One up grade I would like to see are the roads in the park are narrow, hard for knuckleheads like me to get around pulling my 30 ft trailer.

Nice campground with lots of trees, almost like a state campground but with more amenities. Sites are good sized, and are set up in sections with trees between the sections rather than row after row of sites jammed next to each other like so many other private campgrounds. Lots of trails for hiking and biking. Pool, playground and rental banana bikes for the kids. Owners live on site and are friendly and helpful. This was my first stay here, I'll definitely be back when in the area again.

Great campground, awesome owners! My husband, son, and I stayed here for a week visiting family nearby. Owners are responsive and great about ensuring things like quiet hours, etc., are maintained. Pool is GREAT and the 10-year-old loved the trails. Thanks for a great stay!

The place was very scenic, there was a public pool with a deep end, and a nice playground too. The trails here were great for jogging, walking dogs, and just casually having a "talk walk" with friends and family. Restrooms were not inside the cabin so you have to leave the cabin and walk to the public restroom. Food is not served here but there is a camp store so alot of camping needs can be bought that way you can save space when packing to camp here.

Seriously loved it here! Very clean bathrooms & showers! Awesome sites for camping! Cool trails to walk around and the owners are seriously so amazing and helpful! Camp here and I tell you that you'll be coming back very soon!
