Overall very fairly priced. Great location and nice sized suites. However, Rooms could use a little more maintenance/repairs. Family was in another room at this resort and the same applied to their room. Furniture looked beat. Balcony was STICKY. Bugs seems to serve as a constant issue in Florida...Rooms: 3/5
We stayed at Blue Heron Beach Resort 12/8-11. We loved this hidden gem. Very spacious and super clean! Close to parks and Disney Springs. It was a little dated but we are still giving it 5 stars b/c it was spacious, super clean, location was perfect and price was great! We enjoyed being able to spread out in our 2 bedroom condo!
We have stayed here Three times now and each time it has gotten worse. First stay was great. Clean and good Second Time, dirty and we found Needles. This Stay - We got one room had cockroaches, second one had ants. Rooms weren’t clean. dishes i had to rewash before using. Food stuck on them. By the end of our stay there was only 1 Elevator working For 20 floors. Price was good but it shows. View is beautiful, Pool was great. Good parking.
We stayed 5 nights. Staff very accommodating. Stellar views and great location. Shuttle was a bit hit and miss to Disney, but we got there in the end. Will definitely consider here againRooms: 5/5
This is a good place for families but they need to upgrade the furniture. Some of the chairs and tables are in need of repair. The full kitchen and washer and dryer are great features. Nearby activities: Very close to the Disney Springs entrance to Disney World Food & drinks: Close to many restaurants both fast food and casual dining
I bought this "2 bedroom" condo that was on the 19th floor of the Blue heron Beach resort. You have to have a key card to get up and down the elevators and there are staircases on either side, but 19 floors is a pretty long walk up the stairs. We had a bedroom to the right when you first walk in with the king bed and an ensuite bathroom. In the hallway there was a small washer and dryer stackable in a closet next to bunk beds, which I guess was considered the second bedroom. Across the hall, there was another full bathroom, at the end of the hallway there was a full kitchen, a beautiful living room, and glass windows that were floor to ceiling surrounding the sliding glass door that opened out into a huge balcony. The whole unit came furnished and was about 2,500 a month. That's including the deposit. the balcony overlooked lake Bryan and the two beautiful pools that were on site. They also had a poolside bar, several restaurants and coffee shops, a convenience store, boat rentals, tons of walking trails, hot tubs, and parking was underneath the building and there was plenty of it. The property is absolutely beautiful, whether you're looking for a vacation or for a furnished month-to-month rental, as I was. Blue heron is definitely an awesome place to vacation. Rooms: The rooms are beautiful, at least in my experience. My only criticism would be that a two-bedroom condo or suite should include an actual bedroom, not just bunk beds in the hallway. Nearby activities: On the property there are walking trails, boat rentals, swimming in two of their beautiful pools, a poolside bar, a few restaurants , coffee shops, and hot tubs. Around the property, you are pretty close to the Disney theme parks as well as international drive, universal Studios, tons of water parks and fun activities such as helicopter rides, arcades, scooter and bike rentals, topgolf, mini golf, salons and spas, museums, the Orlando zoo, aquariums, and much, much more. Definitely a prime location. Safety: You have to swipe your key card to enter the parking garage and also to get on the elevator. I believe you also have to swipe it to enter the pool areas. Walkability: As I previously mentioned, there are tons of walking trails and a lot to do on the property. If you want to dine or explore off of the property, you definitely need to have a rental car or an Uber if you are vacationing to get to your destination. The resort is on a pretty busy street and I wouldn't recommend attempting to walk. Food & drinks: Again, as I previously mentioned, they have bars, restaurants, and coffee shops on the property. They also have many local restaurants and bars in the area. Most offer delivery to the resort. Also, it's not a far drive to dine in at a wide range of restaurants, ranging from fast food to 5-star, all within a few miles. Noteworthy details: This property offers furnished month to month leases for their condos, you can purchase a condo with a realtor, Or you can book a condo for a vacation stay, however many nights you are looking to stay: 3, 7, 10... but there is a high deposit, and the resort fees are charged daily, along with the room fee.
Love it, we have amazing time there… you can see firework back balcony .. best choice is take the elevator all way up and watch from there .. it is amazing view of balcony. Apartment was clean, equipped with full kitchen and garage parking.. food is walk way .. Walmart is 5 minutes Driving.. had to print a document… front desk lady helped Definitely 5 stars
The resort is nice and works for its locations and amenities. Good parking, fun pool, and the rooms are spacious, but a little dated. This is our second time staying there and we will book again.Rooms: 4/5
Great location to everything & the rooms are HUGE! Pool, swim up bar with food, grill, lake views.. frequent visitor & already can't wait to go backRooms: 5/5
