Story

We opened our doors in 1989 to introduce Japanese cuisine to North Bay. Masa Nagasawa the owner and head chef was born in Japan and has brought with him all of his own recipes. Along with his wife's help and support Marika Nagasawa, they have made their restaurant an important ingredient of North Bay.

All of our meals, dipping sauces and dressing are home made and prepared in our kitchen to ensure authenticity. Masa is very well known throughout North Bay and even as far as Sudbury and Montreal for his home made sesame based salad dressing.

The Kabuki House is also known for its friendly service and its authentic atmosphere. Our excellent exotic creations are a must see. A lot of memorabilia found in our intimate dinning room are imported directly from Japan. While enjoying an excellent meal, Masa cooks at his Teppan table in the main dining room while entertaining you with his talents as a chef.
