Went here for the Pata...not disappointed! Ordered fish Singag as well pics below I was under the impression it comes with rice but it didn't. If you like to mix your protein with something else make sure you order another side and enjoy every bite of deliciousness
This place is a hidden gem. You wouldn't even thought of a restaurant around the area and, I think, that's really smart. You can definitely throw a party here and no one will complain lol. The place is huge and has lots of options food and party-wise. We loved the sinigang, shrimp tempura, and crispy pata. Only thing I would suggest is to have more veggies in the sinigang cos it only came with eggplant, taro white radish, a little bit of spinach and some garnish. It'll be nice to see one to two of the following: okra, sitaw, spinach, or bakchoy. Loved the shrimp tempura because it's seasoned and battered properly unlike other places where the batter is more than the meat itself. The cripsy pata ... my God! I don't even need to explain. Just look at the picture. I'm sure you can taste it from your screen. IT WAS THE BOMB! The server, who I think is the owner as well, was amazing! I think her name is Juvy. Hence, "JUVY'S BAR AND GRILL". She was so personable. Believe me when I say that I have been into so many Filipino restaurants and they treat you differently even though we're the same culture! Tita Juvy definitely made us feel super welcomed and taken are of like your typical Filipina Mom/Auntie when you come over for food. We were well fed that night! I will definitely come back!
Discovered this Filipino Bar in Richmond BC and I love it! Feels like home. Will hang out here again.
Amazing place with great atmosphere and food . The drink prices are the best in town. There is a dance area with lights and Karaoke. A lot of beautiful philipino ladies and great heated outdoor area. You can watch sports or UFC on big screens. I wish there was a pool table.Food: 5/5
This place is a home style restaurant. Juvy and the staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and warm. They have a live band and karaoke from time to time. Lunch is quiet but evenings are lively. They have some pretty good Filipino food if you like. It’s not on the main road but behind Home Depot, so if you’re in the neighborhood, make a detour and swing by to give it a try. It’s not like any other restaurant in Richmond.
Juvy's is a staple to the locals, more famous for their weekend nights of live music and dance but locals secretly know that it is the afternoon that is a golden hour!!! See the crispness of these wings!!! Highly recommended!!Food: 5/5
A little bit hidden. Went on kareoke night. Lots of great singer's enjoying the night. Would like to go back for live band. A little out of my way but still a great hang out where everyone could know your name
A surprise hole in the wall pub/restaurant in the warehouse/industrial area.
Nice warm no frills place to get a beer after work. I liked the music.
Great special of the day! Chicken stuffed with Asparagus, spinach and cheese. Very delicious, good music, and clean place for lunch.
