I thought the amazing shop closed it doors forever. But to my surprise I found the location. Plenty of parking out front. You enter the doors to a very spacious store. Everything shining and very clean. Great selection of products and excited to see their pastry area. All made in store. The employee was excited and super friendly. Yes some of products maybe a bit pricey but is comparable to other specialty shops. See you next week.
If you’re on sugar withdrawal, don’t want flour, and want something that tastes amazing but is light, this is the place. I thought it was a small bakery but walked inside and it has everything you need if you’re doing keto or are gluten free. It’s a little store with alternatives for everything! I got 1/2 dozen for $23 not bad considering how expensive it is everywhere else, I didn’t have to order in advance since it was a last minute gift. Personally the red velvet wasn’t as flavourful as the others but everything else tasted great! The frosting does have dairy, I did find out though that you can order it with coconut milk icing instead in advance so I’ll do that next time for sure! The size isn’t as big which is both great/not but it has a lot of fibre so I’m guessing that’s why hahahaha. Customer service was beyond phenomenal. Holly employee knew her stuff and could tell you exactly what was in the cupcake/other items Our fav cupcake was the German chocolate one
Tried the cupcakes and they were highly enjoyable. They were just sweet enough. Try the Black Forrest flavour, as that was the favourite. They also have a nice selection of prepackaged grocery items catered to those managing diabetes.
I have several friends who are diabetic so I did a Google search for bakeries that catered to diabetic needs and this was the first place that came up. They have an amazing selection of products that are sugar free and I am delighted to have discovered this bakery! There are also Keto products and a large variety of syrups, etc. I'm so glad this place exists and I know I'll be back again.
Sorry guys, none of my family members enjoyed the cake unfortunately. I really wanted a sugar free cake so that my diabetic parents could enjoy big pieces but the cake wasn't worth the price at all. It wasn't as soft and it was more like a layer of jam between two cake slices, with icing on top. This was the first time I have had a cake with just one layer of jam/filling in between, as soon as a slice is cut, the slice toppled into top and bottom piece. There was no layering of filling/cream except one. No burst of flavour we could enjoy, just the satisfaction that it's a sugar free cake. Sorry to say but seemed really high priced for what we got and quality wasn't upto the mark. As i said, more like a sweet sandwich than a birthday cake: Giving 3 stars because they prepared cake on short notice and staff was very friendly.
Had the black forest cupcake, it was nice and spongey with whipped cream and cherry jam. For people that don't eat low carb, the texture might seem totally different than regular cupcakes. All the desserts are around 3-5 g of carbs and they use the ingredients in store. A great alternative that's guilt free.
Lovely little gem we found , inside was a young girl working in the front, so nice and very helpful. I ate my cupcakes before I got them home. Trying not to eat the brownies till tomorrow , we could not believe the condiments and goodies they have. love this place
Great bakery for Keto finds. Low carb bakery items were tasty & light, pricey but all Keto or low carb goods seem to be great selection of Keto-friendly goods but beware the maltitol sweets, that will spike your blood sugar just like white sugar. Would be nice if they brought in more products using stevia etc. But was nice to see low carb pastas, sauces, sweets etc.
Such a fabulous store with tons of options available for those who require specialty foods!! The baking was all amazing I will definitely be back soon!!
I was looking for a place that had low sugar low carb treats that tasted good. A friend recommended this place. Oh boy went in here and not only did I get yummy baked goods but they also had lots of other products I’ve been ordering offline. The staff member who helped me was super knowledgeable and was able to make good recommendations. I bought several treats however was told freeze them take them out 45mins before you want to consume. I’ve had a chocolate coconut donut was very good, and my spouse and I each had a key lime pie and we boy really enjoyed it. Thank you!!! So much and recommend to give this place a try if you haven’t
