I love Chinese fried rice and this restaurant made it! Recommended for this menu.nIf you come during dinner, the Dim Sum menu does not vary as lunchtime.nA bit pricy but it comes with quite a big portion.
Long day and decided for some Dim Sum and was on the West End. Decided to try Jumbo again as the vegetables are really great and the food is good. I don’t know if they are smiling are not as they all were masks but the food is great. lol!!!nDon’t expect a lot of conversation but if you need something just be quick and grab their attention. Don’t wait for them to stop or you snooze and you lose! lol.nJust enjoy the food! Fill your belly! Grab what’s left and leave happy.nnAlways order the green tea!
Stumbled on this restaurant by chance but what a nice discovery it was. There was plenty of staff to help you if you needed something that alone is a plus. Jumbo crystal shrimp with peaches and mango sauce is definitely a must try such a refreshing meal. The best fried rice is the salted fish fried rice. Overall the food is really good all the food that we ordered were really good its just a matter of personal preference of what you love the most. We will definitely go back.
Very yummy spot when you're in the mood for some dimsum, or Chinese food. We ordered the shiu mai minced pork & shrimp dumplings, sticky rice, hot green beans with minced pork, bean curd shrimp rolls and dry ribs. Wasn't too crazy about the dry ribs, kinda doughy and greasy. The rest was amazing.
Haven't been to Jumbo in years. They still push the carts for dim sum 10/11am to 2:45pm. The same carts kept on coming around; extremely limited selection with dishes in the $6.75 to $9.95 price range.nn- 4x Tea $1.00 each - make sure to check your bill. They were going to charge kids/babies for tea.n- Ha gaon- Shumain- Steamed jumbo shrimp rice rolln- Steamed curry squidn- Steamed sticky ricen- Deep fried sesame balls with red bean pasten- Stir fried wide rice noodles $18.95n- Singapore fried rice vermicelli $18.95nnSubpar dim sum, noodle lunch specials were even less memorable. Wouldn't come back anytime soon. 2.5 stars.
