Finally had the opportunity to visit this restaurant based on strong recommendations from friends. The initial impression sets it apart from other Chinese establishments – it’s noticeably cleaner, more comfortable, and exudes a sense of luxury. While it might be slightly more expensive than other options, the experience is worth the shout.nnI particularly enjoyed the unique table style, adding to the overall ambiance. The standout dishes were the $28.80 black truffle chicken and the $8.99 crispy shrimp pineapple spring roll – both absolutely delightful and unlike anything I’ve tried elsewhere. These are must-try items!nnThe overall service is typical of Chinese restaurants, but here it surpasses the standard routine of handing you the menu and leaving you for a while. The total bill came to $100 for two people, which might be considered a bit pricey, but the quality of the experience justifies the cost. It’s definitely a good place to explore for those looking for something different and are willing to invest a bit more for a unique dining experience.
A quiet unassuming restaurant on Stony Plain Road. I have been going for Dim Sum for over forty years now and this is one of the best. They even had the sauce I love. The prices are reasonable, less than forty dollars with tip for two people. We have found our new place for Dim Sum.
Overall, I like their food, the only thing I like to mention is that they don't have a variety of dim sum like others, and it will be great to add more items:
Decent dim sum. The staff was efficient but not too talkative , the food came out quickly and everything was hot and tasted good. You order your dim sum off a menu here versus having carts go around. I like this as you get the items you specifically want versus being limited to what comes around in the cart format. Located in a shopping complex so lots of parking. A good alternative to the dim sum restaurants in Chinatown.
The dishes are delectable and the ambience is really nice of you opt for fine dining. Service is a so so and a bit pricey but overall a good experience.
