The service here is great, staff are kind and attentive! The restaurant is a bit small, tables are close together. It can get busy on the weekends.nnThere was a free mango dessert in the end which was delicious! There was also a free curry fired noodle dish last picture. Portion sizes are decent to a bit small for a 6 person meal, which comes out to $188 before tax. I would imagine the food is healthier since the food is a bit on the blander side. However not everyone likes strong flavours, so this might be a good option for those who prefers more of a home cooking vibe
Went for a birthday dinner last time — authentic Chinese food with nicely presented dishes. However, the food quality wasn’t always consistent.nnThe biggest downside is the restaurant’s size — it’s fairly small and a bit cramped. Make sure to reserve a table in advance.nnService was on the slower side, but the staff were friendly. There wasn’t much interaction, but we still felt well taken care of.nnThey offered mango pudding as dessert at the end — a nice touch :
Wonderful experience at Good Buddy Granville. Had lunch with my fam here. We ordered the hainan chicken rice lunch menu, green onion cake and signature fried noodles. Portion is generous, serving speed very quick, waitresses are very polite and friendly and the restaurant environment is very clean and spacious. A really good place to hang out for Chinese food!
Taste is spot on. Vegetables were fresh, meat is so tender. You can taste the wok hei on the Yang chow rice. Love the interior of the restaurant although it is a little cramped. Takes a while to get a table but worth the wait. The servers were nice but also prompt to get you what you need.
I felt like they improved on the presentation and taste of the food. We ordered the Set meal for four people. The servings were plentiful. The leftovers were eaten joyfully for the next four meals at home. So lots of value there. But it was the quality which really impressed me. Happy to have a very good Chinese restaurant nearby. Only thing was the cramped dining area. They need to buy the space next door and expand.
