"Fresh-made subs and sides that redefine delicious! JRECK Subs was founded in 1967 when five Northern New York schoolteachers started selling submarine sandwiches out of an old, converted school bus. Their names were Jerry Haley, Robert Martin, Ellis Martin, Charles Lehman, and Keith Waltz. And, if you take the first letter of each of their names and put them together, you get the word, “JRECK.” Since then, JRECK subs stores have opened up throughout New York State and continue to offer the best-tasting subs around. Each JRECK Subs store is locally owned and operated by dedicated franchisees who honor our past by retaining a foundational engagement of support with educators, schools and other organizations in the Auburn area."

Great sub and fresh roll as usual.Ham sub for $6.99 was the Monday special so saved a couple bucks.

I go there a bunch and their subs are always on point. Their weekly special bread is usually amazing and awesome service too! Highly recommend!
So for the plus. Maybe the best rolls ever, and the sub was really good. For the bad. Place needs a face lift bad. The fish tank needs to go, and a new floor, counter, and some paint would be nice. I think a make over would definitely bring in customers. Please start with the fish tank that has not been cleaned in a few years.
Excellent food fresh and good prices smiles and friendly people making delicious sandwiches and a variety of other foods reallly love this place and have for years ... try them seriously.
Been going to JReck Subs for over 45 years and the quality and taste is always first rate. Fast efficient service, reasonable prices, and quality meats & toppings make this a much better place than Subway. They have a wide and varied assortment of side dishes to suit any tastes and all are freshly prepared when ordered.
I'm from Buffalo and I traditionally love Jrecks. It said they closed at 8pm on the maps app and we got here at 7:04 PM from the thruway already closed!!! What a waste of my time & gas not to mention the disappointment when I only get a Jrecks sub every 18 months or so.
