JR's Hometown Grill & Pub

Service was good but.... Took way too long for food to arrive. My friends steak was way undercooked twice. They also brought the apps out with the entrees and not before. I'll need to see some positive reviews before going back.

Our first visit here - Had the prime rib with a Margarita - both were specials for the day. The prime rib was tender and tasty. Margaritas we're good as well. The only issue was the salads did not come out ahead of the main course. We would come back for more.

Poor night. I've had a lot good meals at JR's. Not tonight. The server was ok, but not thorough. I didn't get items ordered. My wife requested hot water for tea. The water not hot. They got it right the second time. I ordered a steak cooked medium. It was cooked more on the rare side. We both ordered loaded potatoes. They both were overcooked and dry. My wifes order and mine came on the same plate. The remedy was to give us a wet plate for her food. The plate had a chip, so my wife requested a replacement. The replacement was also wet. We asked why. Because it just came out of the dishwasher. I noticed the other plates stacked upside-down. If there all wet it would be a great place for bacteria to grow. It was 20 minutes before closing and we felt like we were being rushed. I wasn't done eating and the server was asking about dessert or a box for the remainder of the meal. Someone liked a song on their radio so they turned it up which made it difficult two talk or hear. I paid the bill without finishing and we left.

Food is fair. The service is terribly slow. I had to go back to work before my food arrived. There are much better places in Tecumseh.

Loved my first visit, but the next two were bad to worse. Undercooked, then overcooked. Not sure what to think.
