Hooligan's Grill

I've only visited about six times and each time I have had less than acceptable service. The food is always delicious. They are on the pricey end. I like that they have live music. The interior is nicely decorated. Front entrance with street side parking and also a rear entrance with parking lot.

I have to say this is such a great place. Literally just wonderful service every single time I have gone in. And in regards to the woman going on about her reservation, on Sunday I was there. The place was PACKED. I know the staff well and the table that woman was at was a last minute reservation. A large table at that. The whole restaurant was already full and the kitchen working as hard they could to get food out for all parties. Mind you there was a reserved party of 20+ upstairs and several parties down stairs. If you see a full restaurant, you are going to have to be patient and realize that servers/owners/cooks are only human. And ALWAYS do the best they can. I sat and listened to the woman who posted the poor reveiw go off on the owner who tried to apologize repeatedly. I even overheard her discussing items being voided from their bill, (I’m assuming a large amount) which was still not enough. If you haven’t been to hooligans you should give it a try. It’s my favorite place in Adrian.

Was attending a graduation celebration on Sunday with family. Had reservations as did a few other large parties. Arrived and seated prior to other groups that came in after us. Same size party sitting next to us got served, got their food and finished eating and left before we received our food. The excuse we were given was we asked for sauces to be put on the side. I am sorry I may not have ran a restaurant but have been with large groups all over the world eating and never had this experience. Then to top off everything the manger was rude and told us we didn’t know anything about running a restaurant and blamed the delay on our orders. Apprantley she was not taught as I was the first rule of customer service is the customer is always right. Not only did she lose any repeat business from a party of 10, I would never recommend this restaurant based on my experience with the service. It is sad because the food was good what was done correctly .

We had reservations for 17 people and when we got there the largest table was filled. They had to move the customers in order to make room for us to sit. The menu looked good, but the food was average and not worth the prices. Not only that, but it took over an hour before we had all of our food. The waitress came back serveral times to ask about our orders because she had messed them up. She was slow and inconsistent. Overall, the restaurant itself if cute, but the service is extremely poor and the food was mediocre. I don’t recommend eating at Hooligans.

The place has a lot of potential but trying to be to unconventional it was Friday night and the place was almost empty Entertainment was weak. A single guy trying to play guitar and sing with an occasional comment trying to be funny Failed at all three Dispite it all I will try and go back and give it another shot Staff was polite service was good
