Johnson's Seafood and Steak

From the outside it doesn't exactly catch your attention as the place to eat unless you heard about it or want to stop by for ice cream. I was very surprised when we went inside with the very large overflow waiting room wrapped around with pinewood seating and inside was very clean with the same pinewood chairs and tall ceiling. The staffs were all friendly, prompt and courteous but not overbearing. The bathroom (at least for men's) was clean. There were plenty of light coming in which I personally like. As for food it's pretty generous. The thin cut fries were very fresh along with the giant haddock as well as tuna melt on a very soft bun. I will say that their coleslaw was a bit sweeter than I liked but overall the freshness of the food and experience was great. Overall atmosphere is excellent as well. Plenty of parking but would get here before 5pm on weekends it does get pretty crowded during summer it seems.

The food is pretty good. A little expensive because it's seafood. But they literally have the BEST whoopee pies. I never leave there without at least two

Love this place for clams and scallops! I travel from IL to get them here, how's that for an endorsement? The scallops are tender and sweet, the clams are to die for! You got give that combination platter a shot!

Food was great but so was the Price. Very expressive for what you get. Will not eat there again.
