Great service. Quickly seated at a lakeside table. Server was so friendly, quick and everything served perfectly. We ordered a seafood dip/chips, fish cod and chips with yummy clam chowder and a turkey club on a pretzel bun with sweet potato fries. All filling and delicious. Taking half home for later or tomorrow. Topped off with a to go slice of chocolate mousse cake. Atmosphere was warm and casual right on the lake. We’ll definitely return if we’re back in this area. Highly recommend!
I've been to Johnny's several times the past few years, when they are busy it has been a little slow but nothing crazy. I come here frequently for the marinated chicken sandwich, so far it has always been very well cooked! Service has always been good! Also love the fries!! I do agree this place isn't prefect, other reviewers seem to be fairly critical.. but for the price, the quality of food and ambiance makes this a regular location for me... And in the summer, stopping here on the boat has been clutch!
Ok so I have a mixed view on this place. I wanted to like it a lot but it just fell short. The drinks are good. I would come back for the drinks. I ordered the fajitas and got just a pan of mushrooms. I had more mushrooms than meat see picture. They ended up making me more meat but I had to wait while the rest of my food got cold because the waiter didn’t bring out cheese which I asked for when I ordered. The chef kept coming out to talk to one table and also some back mangers or maybe owners. So even though my order was wrong two tables over they were getting excellent service and mine was lackluster. The fajitas were good- I would encourage you all to work on your service.
Food is excellent service I’d say needs improvement. Not sure if it’s lack of workers or training but I would definitely recommend.
Had an off site training for work and decided to try this place since it was near by. The bartender Tara gave such great service. I had the parmesan garlic wings and waffles fries. Everything taste so good! I’ll definitely be going back so I can sit outside off the lake next time.
We stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant a little while ago. I was surprised at how tasty their Shrimp Taco were. And my daughter was surprised as well with her meal she had the ribs. Waitress was customer friendly, kind and polite goes a long way. They also have the Lake right there behind the restaurant… Wonderful views of the water and the boats. Refreshing right after the Panademic being able to drive down and walk around the lake and enjoy the wonderful aroma from the outdoor grill. The Patio is adjacent to the restaurant and they have a live band on certain days of the week and I’m sure he weekend, as well. Nice restaurant would recommend
The food was ok. I think they could if brought it out sooner. It wasn't as hot as it should have been. The Mimosas was excellent! The view was nice also.
Good spot to eat off the water. Staff is friendly. I'll be back to try brunch.
Good food. Nice outdoor seating. One waitress for the entire patio. She was very nice though. Host at the front was very unprofessional. Acted like he didn't know what he was doing. Made a stupid remark about having no help was the governor's fault. That was very unprofessional as I believe our governor is doing a good job. Overall would go back. Needs some sprucing up
I was extremely disappointed tonight. I had visited Johnny's for the first time over the summer by accident really, and it was wonderful: the service, the food, and the view. Although the service this time was consistently good hats off to our attentive young server, Jackson, the food was sub-par. Everything we ordered was cold - from the main courses to the sides. I would hesitate to return, even though I had such a positive experience earlier in the year. Also, and I don't know if this will change as winter progresses, but the restaurant itself was cold. There was no heat at all in the men's room, and the main eating area had some heat but turned down quite low. All-in-all, a bad experience tonight. The only reason I gave it three stars instead of something lower was the service.
