Hello everyone,nnThis is actually my first time writing a Google review, so please bear with me.nnI wanted to take a moment to recognize an employee I’ve had the pleasure of meeting at this location. Ever since I first started shopping here, I’ve been greeted and checked out by a young girl with the biggest smile and such a positive attitude. I believe her name is Vanessa.nnHonestly, I’ve never met a cashier quite like her. To this day, she continues to be incredibly kind and welcoming to both my children and me. She always makes sure we’re doing okay and consistently brings such positive energy every time we come in. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in a bad mood.nnWhenever I’ve had an issue or needed help, she’s always been the first person willing to assist and make things right for me. What stands out even more is the way she treats my children. They’re usually very shy and don’t warm up to many people, but whenever they see her, they get so excited and run to give her hugs. She always asks them about school and takes the time to talk with them, which truly means a lot to me as a parent.nnI sincerely hope she gets the recognition she deserves someday because she is genuinely one of the kindest employees I’ve ever encountered. People like her make a real difference.nnThank you.
I have never experienced such rude and disrespectful behavior anywhere in Canada.nnI understand that it was a Saturday and employees may have preferred to be home rather than at work, but that is not the customer’s fault.nnThe cashier, whose name may have been Sherry or Shirley, at the No Frills location at Yonge and Davis was one of the rudest employees I have ever encountered. She was extremely rude and unkind to my child.nnShe was repeatedly tossing and bouncing customers’ produce from one side to the other with no apparent care. When I later found who appeared to be the manager and raised my concerns, she told me she was not the manager, which I later learned was not true.nnBased on this experience, I would recommend avoiding this location. In my experience, the Leslie location provides much better customer service.
The first time I went to the garden center Fatima was welcoming and patient and was very helpful. She is very knowledgeable and professional and helped me with my shopping. Nofrills should be so happy to have her!
The quality of the fresh items is not the best here but it is still acceptable, taking into account that it is a discounted store. You can find daily grocery items here but you may not have a lot of options. The store is not the cleanest and a lot of items can be out-of-stock, specifically if they are on sale.
