I recently visited NOFRILLS Newmarket and was impressed by its exceptional cleanliness and tidiness. The shelves are always neatly arranged, creating a pleasant shopping environment. The staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. Despite the high customer traffic, the fruit and vegetables remain consistently fresh. Overall, it's the best NOFRILLS I've ever been to.
Okay firstly it's a nofrills, I like the merchandise inside, that's why I went. I really like this specific. However, the carts are 1 dollar and then there are no cart drop off shelters in site!!!! As a mother of 2 young kids I was screwed . I couldn't leave my kids in the car and I didn't want to be that person to ditch the cart in a parking lot. I simply panicked and asked a random person to help... awful
I am deeply disappointed with the treatment I received from Raheleh 9802, a cashier at John's No Frills Newmarket.nnRecently, I visited the store and bought some corns. I found Raheleh, the cashier, input wrong amount of the corns after I double checked with my receipt. I asked her if she can do the refund because of the wrong number, but Raheleh refused and exhibited a very bad attitude towards me.nnAs a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and understanding, especially when cashier make a mistake and charge extra money to customer. The cashier's behavior was unacceptable and reflects poorly on the customer service standards of No-frills.nnI hope the management team will address this issue promptly and ensure that all staff members are trained to handle situations with professionalism and respect towards customers. No customer should be subjected to such unwarranted hostility, regardless of the circumstances.
Lazy employees close the store 5 mins or + before posted closing time. This time, I've had enough and have to leave a review. I was counting on the store being open, but the snotty employees working here figured I don't get to buy food here today. Until the store management/owner decides to punish employees who do this, be sure to find a solid 15 mins before close time so you don't get locked out. Or, save yourself a few more bucks and go shop nearby at Walmart, where they certainly don't tolerate bs like that from their employees. Shameful. Hopefully owner sees this and eliminates the riff Raff working here. I tried the door at 5:52 pm and the store was locked. Supposed to be open until 6pm.
My local No Frills. Clean, always stocked, I shop here weekly. They also have FlashFood here.
