Highly professional, fair, reliable , and service without delay. Sometimes newly installed parts can fail through no fault of the the repair shop and this is where I found out the degree of honesty and integrity of Johns Automotive. While I expected the part to be covered by warranty I would have had no problem paying for the extra diagnosis involved to confirm the problem. John backed it up 100% and charged Nothing at all. Highly recommended.

We were so impressed with the great service and price, we had to leave a review. And, we fell in love with Molly - the adorable shop dog who greets everyone with a big smile and wagging tail. We took my wife's 2004 Jeep Liberty in to assess a problem with the air conditioning (stopped working) as well as an intermittent acrid smell that we had noticed for the past 6 months - figured these issues might be related. Given the Jeep is so old, we wanted to first find out what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair BEFORE agreeing to any repairs - if the amount was more than $1500 we would think about just replacing the vehicle instead. We were very pleasantly surprised when John told us that he wouldn't even charge us to investigate the issue - that is unheard of nowadays. Dealerships or Canadian Tire would charge a couple of hundred dollars just to have a look under the hood. John quickly found the problem, called us to tell us the cost of repairs and we were very pleased to hear he was able to get the parts and fix the problem all on the same day. We asked about the general condition of the Jeep and also requested an oil change as it was way overdue. He suggested a very reasonable price to do the oil change and check the overall condition of the car. This gave us peace of mind that there wasn't any other major repairs that would crop up soon. Can't recommend this place more highly.

John is honest and they do excellent work. As someone who owns an old car, i can say with certainty that this place is a gem in a city full of dishonest places who do questionable work. Highly recommended.
