John Lawson Park

A beautiful park all the time. It's good for all ages. The playground and the shady sitting area are good for all. We came for the celebration of Canada Day 2022. A lot of people come out in the park to enjoy the day but it is big enough for everyone.

Unlike Dundrave Park in close proximity, you can't drink alcohol here. On the other hand, if you came to visit with kids, the playground here is a lot bigger. Also, this park has more sitting areas stones, benches, logs and lots of shade to hide. I love the views. You see your kids playing on the playground and on the background there are windsurfers, and ferries.

A lot of fun! Great place, especially for kids over 5. Take a bucket and a shovel if they like playing in the sand. There are water features during summer. Lots of picnics and birthday parties around.

John Lawson Park is a great place for kids with a water park and playground. Has a nice view of ocean and Lions Gate Bridge

Great place for kids, large playground arra next to the beach, and picnic areas under large canopy trees. Has clean public washrooms. Nice views of Stanley Park and Lions Gate Bridge. Parking is usually easy to find, but sometimes not when there is a special event.

Ocean view gives it more desirable. It is a bit windy, but small water park in it gives kids a lot of fun.

yeap this is a good spot to go and relax or have some meet up picnics with friends and family. find your spot for tables very few its a big sea shore so theres other good spots on the other side but far theres kids playgrounds and they can play in the water. sand slide... i went there and saw lots of kids around 3pm and i witnessed accidents so check out your kids sometimes. i saw a kid hit the bar in his head. hes running and didn't see it. its clean here and sometimes there is events so theres sometimes build tents for small businesses. good job for the city hall responsible for this area i love west Vancouver . i haven't explored the other areas here but after i got of the bus i saw 7/11. a sushi restaurant and a market close by. so if you guys plan to go here with nothing you can buy foods and drinks there i came here with my family so i dont know the vibes of around sunsets here..like i mean for teens or up having a good time drinks or chat or dating for cars i think its ok to find a parking spot

Beautiful local park. Perfect for family with small children.

Such a beautiful park. Has a very nice water park for the kids, a pier to watch the boaters and look out to see Stanley Park and Lions Gate Bridge. This park also has some nice picnic benches and a near by public washroom. Really nice place to walk along the sea side
