Really pretty Little park. The point view is awesome. At just 20min from Surrey or Burnaby. Good spot for pic nic . Calm. Nobody else was There. Good place for Do some Drone video or picture.
The view is nice but there isn’t much level ground to set up your chairs. If you’re planning on stopping by I’d recommend a foam pad to sit on as there’s lots of rocks as you can see by my photo.
Definitely a hidden spot. Very small public beach but quiet and serene.
Beautiful scenery - unfortunately not really accessible to seniors - quite steep.
Absolutely phenomenal panoramic view of Vancouver Harbour: from the West Van shoreline at Caulfeild Park along to Ambleside, the Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park, and then back up along the beaches of Kitsilano to Jericho, Point Grey and beyond in the distance to Vancouver Island. The view at dusk is also absolutely amazing when the towers rising along the shore of Ambleside and those in the Downtown Core beyond Stanley Park are fully illuminated. Excellent spot for a rocky seaside walk or hike over trails and rock faces. If you're lucky, it's not uncommon to catch a glimpse of a seal, otter, or eagle overhead. Caulfeild Park also includes a grassy garden area "Edge Park" -- further along Pilot House Road below the Caulfeild Rock Monument dedicated to the West Vancouver pioneer, Sir Francis Wm. Caulfeild, after whom this area is named, with lawn and several tall apple trees, ideal for summer picnics and viewing July - August English Bay fireworks from a distance. This park is, after Ambleside, my personal favorite of all in West Vancouver, and is truly an unparalleled hidden gem.
Beautiful hidden gem in North Van. We enjoyed our time here. We had a swim in the ocean, played in the sand and enjoyed all the driftwood. There are steps going down to the beach and a trek to get back up. Parking can be difficult as it's in the side of the road.
Beautiful. We arrived and anchored just off shore. It was a bit challenging getting a reliable bite with the anchor. The beach was crazy busy however.
Beautiful spot to watch the boats. Highly recommended.
Looking down town Vancouver & lions gate bridge... Sunrise & Sunset Wind touch my face and deep breath,, feeling good
Quiet and peaceful. Good place if you don't wanna go somewhere crowded.
