I asked him to remove one link from the bracelet, he did the job, but also scratched the crystal. How did he manage to do that?!! Just remove the bracelet from the watch, keep the watch in a safe place, and work on the bracelet. How hard does that sound?

The technician was quite honest about the value of repairing my very old watch. A watch that is about 45yrs old, well worn but still keeping time. But he quoted $275 to service the watch, though the day before he quoted $175. So the charge was at his whim or was he profiling me because the watch was very sentimental to me.
