Had a badly broken ankle that was left undiagnosed after a major accident and it healed very incorrectly. It was badly out of alignment and very painful. Another surgeon citing fusion as the gold standard and my best option, on multiple visits.He had done an arthroscopic surgery but it did not last , I was left with a severe bone on bone condition. 5 years later his gold standard was still a fusion. I wanted the platinum standard and would accept no less. I opted for a second and better opinion. Dr Anderson spoke with me , his staff took X- Rays he decided I was a strong candidate for a replacement and he had Wright Medical technologies make a very strong custom bionic ankle of titanium and very special plastic to match my other perfectly. I was scheduled for surgery in May 2015 Dr Anderson and his fantastic surgical team did their magic of drilling, sawing , cutting and stitching. I'm 2 years post replacement. I can walk, spin around dance about a bit and even run and shoot baskets if the rest of my injuries didn't slow me down. The Wright InBone ankle is a marvel, the scar is becoming nearly invisible. Great care was taken with installation and it shows. The alignment and height was set perfect. I'm extremely happy with the results an cannot thank Dr John Anderson and his surgical team enough for restoring my ability to effectively ambulate again.😀 I very highly recommend Dr. Anderson
