I really liked John Bear attention, kindness and quality. I’ve visited several stores but can’t compare with. You guys are way better than the average market. Rob Windsor was our sales consultant and he rocks! We got a really nice used car which looks like new. Felt very confident with the business. Thanks Rob!
Staff were kind and helpful. I purchased my truck back in July and brought it in recently for my first oil change and the salesperson I worked with on the purchase, Victoria, came and found me while I was there to say hello and make sure everything was good with the truck. When I asked about a couple of small cosmetic issues I had encountered she did her due diligence and looked into it and was able to advise me on it moving forward. More than helpful when I wasn’t even expecting to see her. Great service, kind and personable. Set my daughter up while we worked through the paperwork and both her and Dave who I spoke to about warranties were more than willing to accommodate my busy schedule. Would recommend.
This was my second time buying from Martha and John Bear Cadillac, so I wanted to leave another review. Martha is an absolute Rockstar! I'm a high performance sales rep for the company I work for and with 20yrs of experience in sales I can tell the difference between a good sales rep and a bad one. Having true real integrity and being genuine is a value most sales reps say they have but don't actually, lots of "fake" people out there these days looking for a quick sale. Martha aligns with doing good longterm business through her values and morals. This makes for a great reflection on the dealership and why John Bear will continue to have my business. Buying from anyone requires a great fit for both the salesperson and the client. Asking the important lifestyle questions is a must and something I experienced with JB and Martha. They always make you feel important and that you matter which to me goes a long way. Can't wait for the next purchase of the HummerEV and I hope it's from Martha because she deserves it! As always thanks again for taking good care of me and my family!
I just purchased my Infiniti FX35 from this dealership. The price was fair a car is good. I just thank to Carmen for this, he was professional and he take care of everything for me. Nice people, good car Thank you John Bear !
I would like to share this positive review/ experience we had with Carmen Muraca at John Bear on Upper James. Carmen was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient while providing my father 74, English is a second language, strong accent with outstanding service. He took the time to explain all the features of the "new to us" vehicle with openness and without judgement. My father had a fear of newer vehicles with technology he wasn't used to, and everything was explained and simplified with ease. Car shopping can be a very stressful process, but Carmen made it easy and enjoyable. He was very clear and thorough and able to provide in depth clarification about pricing so there were no surprises. I would highly recommend Carmen to anyone searching for a new or new to them vehicle who might be intimidated by the process. It's been two weeks since our purchase and my father couldn't be happier! If you're looking for excellent customer service, be sure to visit Carmen the Car Man! You might just walk in there as a stranger, but will drive away with a new friend!
Under new management and they are fantastic! Was last serviced by this dealer back in January 2022 and left feeling terrible. I had overpaid by double on parts during a price matching event which I had a sit down with the GM at the time. Today I returned for a oil change and learned they were under new management. I spoke with them and they covered my oil change! What a class act!!! I will be continuing to take my truck here now as I've always been happy with the work that I've had done. Heads up to Kyle the mechanic! This guy does great work!
Such a great experience with Victoria and the team at John Bear. She was easy to work with, respectful of my time and didn't overpromise on timelines with the order. I highly recommend Victoria at John Bear Hamilton.
6 years ago I had a horrible experience with another chevy dealership. I walked into John Bear and was greeted by Glenn Rouse. I don’t even think we talked about cars for the first hour I was so upset. I ended up buying a vehicle from him at that time. Flash forward to today. That vehicle has some issues and I’ve now out grown it. I went back to Glenn and John Bear and found and bought a new vehicle. The customer service I have received at John Bear has been incredible over the years, and I look forward to many more.
I try to keep an open mind and give the benefit of the doubt, especially before leaving a negative review. I just cannot get there with John Bear. Trying to deal with a warranty issue for over 6 months. Two different Service Managers I was dealing with both suddenly and unexpectedly left the company. I brought my car in for inspection 4 different times and was given different opinions and instructions each time. Full disclosure - the issue was not John Bears fault. The warranty was not honored which was disappointing but the competency and efficiency of service that I received was dismal and no doubt contributed to the unfavorable verdict with GM. I reached out to Executive Management COO on two different occasions to give them an opportunity for some accountability however he declined to respond. I believe that a reasonable person in a customer service role would agree that a compromise was fair based on the circumstances however not even an apology was afforded. Given all the negative reviews for service you would think that there would be some proactive response to customer complaints, but it seems they are content to rest on their laurels. I have not lost faith in Dealer service, but John Bear has lost my loyalty and future business.
After shopping around awhile for a vehicle, the decision became easy. I got an unreal deal, much better than the other dealerships around, and I couldn’t be more happy with the terms and service I received. Piero, was the man taking care of me. He is top notch and went above and beyond for me with options and his professionalism was extremely appreciated. Thank you again Piero, you truly made the difference. I will gladly continue to share my experience with John Bear to anyone I know looking for a vehicle.
