I found Joanne at Balance online.  Joanne is quiet, reassuring, yet can apply a great deal of pressure on sore areas, as required.  For a first appointment, I felt very much at ease and felt much better during and after the massage.  Joanne has a lovely, warm manner.  I highly recommend her.

I highly recommend seeing Joanne over at Balance. She was incredibly thorough, did everything I asked, and had a wonderful touch. I often find massage therapists don't use enough pressure, but that was not a problem with Joanne! I will definitely be going back.

Take it from a guy who has had 15+ years of massages in Downtown Vancouver; Joanne was excellent. Perfect results and such a nice person to help me out!

I have had chronic back/neck problems for years. It is often difficult to find a female RMT that can apply deep enough pressure. Joanne was awesome and I highly recommend her
