First-time diner here, and I must say my visit here was the highlight of my recent Vancouver eatinerary. CAD$35 for 3 artistically-plated, exquisite meals and highly-attentive service? And "no tipping" policy although I insisted? I look forward to coming back soon!Food: 5/5

Came here for a Birthday luncheon. The 3 course meal was well presented and tasted superb. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there was no view but the ambiance made up for it. The staff was very attentive and made it feel like a true celebration. If you get there early enough, visit the student store down the hall where you can purchase yummy and beautifully decorated pastries, cakes and breads for a great price.

Lovely restaurant experience today with accomplished student chefs. The food, presentation and service were all amazing!

Teaching restaurant and everybody was very good, the food was tasty and well presented. It is a set menu that you choose from, drinks are extra from the set price of 37.00. appetizer, main entree and dessert. Bread as well. I do wish the atmosphere was more updated with flowers on the table etc, right now I would simply describe it as beige on beige. The seating was comfortable and it was clean. Located on the 3rd floor at VCC, stairs or elevator for access. Bakery is next to it but today had very little for sale. $$

Beyond amazing!!!! - Went to Chef's Table and it was a lovely experience. Staff, teachers and students were very professional, yet personable. And THE FOOD... Such carr was taken, every dish was beautifully crafted. If you are a "foodie" this is the place to go!!Food: 5/5

Had a fantastic experience for lunch! We had a 3-course meal, and the food was absolutely exceptional! I also tried their strawberry sake cocktail, and it's so refreshing. The student servers, Carina and Ash, were very nice and friendly. I would definitely go again!

Another amazing Chef’s Table @ JJ by Chef Hamid Samilian & Students ! Great ingredients combinations & Skill enhances all flavour mix & blended inside mouth! Succulent gourmet & presentation with well trained students server !! Great value culinary event!

Food was a little off . But I guess that can be expected when it's chefs in training . The scalllops were good cooked right. Lamb was good and tender, mash potato was watery and poor. Dessert presentation was messy to me . A little dry was the cake.

Incredible experience - booked a Chef's Table event online on a whim and showed up not knowing what to expect. Had the best, incredibly fancy and impressive meal I've had in a long time ever???. Molecular gastronomy gimmicks works when paired with delicious flavours, and they do the final preparation and plating right in front of you - it was really neat to watch - and better to eat! Ultimate date night. Definitely Vancouver's best kept secret for fine dining - I got a $300 meal for less than $70. Do it.

A really unbelievable lunch value! 3 courses for $22... I had a delicious duck confit and sausage appetizer, a huge portion of pork belly and cheek for main course, and a truly delicious lemon tart for dessert. The only catch is that things might be slow, the servers might make some mistakes... so as long as you're easygoing and can roll with the punches, it's a really great spot. A great way to support hospitality education! And don't sweat the tip -- it just goes into a student activity fund
