JJ Bean Coffee Roasters

My girlfriend bought a tea, left a $2 tip. The cup was way to hot to hold so we tried to find a sleve, they didnt have any so we asked for one and were told they dont have them. So i asked for a cup so my girlfriend wouldnt burn her hand and the lady gave me attitude and told me i would have to pay for the cup. I honestly was not even being difficult or anything. I guess these people charge a fee if you want to be able to hold cups. Customer service is 0 stars.

Visited this location 4 times because of the quality of expresso we received the first two days. Beautiful creme, full bodied smooth taste. Love the notes of this locally roasted bean. Unfortunately the last two days didn't meet the expectations. There was a different barista on the weekend and the difference was taste-able. Otherwise great location with awesome snacks.

Great coffee spot! I came here one morning the line was 7-8 people long but it moved quickly with 2 cash registers open. I ordered an iced latte and the double smoked bacon & egg breakfast bagel. Order came up quickly. There were plenty of tables available despite being the morning rush. The latte was prefect, not too sweet. The sandwich was exactly what I wanted, nice and toasted. They are very efficient and move through the crowds very quickly. Overall very happy with this place, would definitely come back again!

I'm not really a fan of JJbean coffee as I consider it a little sour, regardless I think that's kind of the coffee taste in Vancouver so for most people I'm sure it's ok. Now the chocolate cookies are another level!! Never tried a cookie as good as that one! I live in the neighborhood so I try to forget they exist cause they're addictive

This is one the busiest cafes on the street but the tables are often occupied by people on their laptops during the day so the turnaround is slow. If you are looking to enjoy a coffee inside it may be challenging to find a space during peak periods.nnThe coffee is pricer than most, but the pastries are very good.nnUnfortunately the service is not that great. I've been here several times and the staff was dismissive and unfriendly. Not even a polite greeting or a thank you as they chatted among themselves. Hopefully they will work on the customer service.
