Just ordered two of the dinners from here as I thought like other’s places they might be small portions. Definitely not lots of meats and vegetables Yorkshire pudding gravy, and for someone who doesn’t eat cooked carrots I ate these absolutely delicious top marks to the chef. I would give 10 stars for that dinner and since I ordered two I’ve got one for tomorrow

Dinner was lovely, staff were friendly but it wasn't advertised anywhere that they only take cash so had a long walk uphill to the nearest cashpoint.

Fantastic food and a very friendly vibe good was delicious can't wait to go again.

The carvery is delicious. We all went today and we all Loved it. Meat was spot on, not dry. We will Be back

Cheap is as cheap does. Awful Yorkshire pudding and poor roasties. Plenty of meat but shredded not sliced veg average. Difficult parking. Grubby interior.

Found this place last week for Sunday Lunch booked up straight away for the next weekend. Good old fashioned pub.Food: 5/5

A great pub ran by great people. Very down to earth and service with care. The pub itself is a brilliant old fashioned bar in the heart of Wallsend burn. Really enjoyed it here and the Sunday dinners are always delicious!

Delicious best Sunday dinner I have had was hot extra gravy plenty of veg followed by fab raspberry cheesecake

Really friendly and kind owners, good pint of Guinness. Good sized beer garden.
