I have had my Budget Blinds Roller Shades for 5 months now and I am so happy with the product. They function smoothly and give the privacy I need with a clean bright look. I was surprised by their ability to block out the cold on my balcony doors, having them installed has given us a warmer living space. The service from Budget Blinds was great, helpful, and personable, and they delivered exactly what they promised.
I'm overall very disappointed in our experience with Budget Blinds. I will start with the positives. Our consultant was helpful and knowledgeable, and the sale associates were pleasant to deal with over the many times I called and emailed. The blinds are nice. To the negatives...it took 4 months from the date I ordered to when our blinds were finally installed. When I initially put in my order, the estimate was 4-8 weeks. Starting at 4 weeks, I got weekly updates with estimated shipping dates, but once that shipping date came, I'd get a new email with a new shipping date this happened 8 times. When our blinds finally did come in, I got a call to remove all existing blinds and hardware for the installation appointment. I did just that, and then once my blinds were installed, I was told that they did not have a remote and therefore my blinds would not work these were on 9-foot bedroom windows - they then had to order the remote separately and I had to go buy temporary shades. Fast forward three more weeks, I called to get an update on the status of the remote and it apparently came in that day. You would think since I had already been waiting 4 months for these blinds, there would be some urgency to book the installation appointment, but there was not. They booked me the "next available appointment" which was then another week, even after I called and expressed my disappointment with how my order had been handled. Had I known this would have been the outcome, I DEFINITELY would have looked elsewhere. Make sure you understand the actual delivery timelines, as no on wants to wait 1/3 of a year for blinds!
We were very impressed with the level of service and commitment to customer satisfaction. The installation team was very friendly and experienced and went above and beyond, even offering extra non-contracted service. From the initial consultation to the finished result, we couldn't be more pleased! Highly recommend for all your blind needs.
We moved to Edmonton and our neighbour recommended Budget Blinds, and in particular Nathan South Edmonton location. We checked out other companies and selected Budget Blinds. The products are custom made, built to last, and Naythan was always prompt in responding to our emails, texts, and calls. Nathan knows his products and we took most of his product / colour suggestions. The install crew was friendly, efficient, and competent. The invoice was detailed and clear. I would recommend Budget Blinds and Nathan to those looking for good-quality, good looking blinds:-
After receiving multiple quotes from different companies we decided to go with Budget Blind due to product offered and pricing. Naythan was knowledgeable about all the products and helpful in making decisions. He made several visits to our home to go over options and always replied promptly to texts and emails. The estimated time from order to install was as promised and actually a week early! The installers were efficient and knowledgeable and even took the time to get to know my partner and dog which added a nice personal touch. We've used them in our last two homes and will continue to use them for our future window covering needs.
Absolutely love my new blinds! Before installing them, winters in my condo were very cold. Now, it's considerably warmer with the blinds and they look great too. I am a happy customer.
Great service! Followed up well, installation done well, my shutters are beautiful! This is the second house that Budget Blinds has done for me, and they didn't disappoint!
The worst service and product I have ever experienced, I bought motorized blinds, that stopped working after a week of use, I phoned budget blinds to help me out with the blinds they told me that I will have to get a new motor because the one I have don't work properly and, and all this after a week of use, but this is not the end of the story, they told me that they don't have motors and that I will have to wait for months until they get motors in stock if they will get them at all, also they offered me another solution which is to purchuse better motors, they can get them in 1 to 3 months, meanwhile I have to wait and have my home without blinds, one blind got stuck in close postion and other one got stuck in the open position, I told them that iIalready waited 8 weeks for them to deliver blinds and now I have to wait for months for them to fix the problem, it seems like they did not care too much, so I am still waiting for motors and I don't have functional blinds. What a bad experience. Now I have to pay extra for better motors and still wait who knows for how long. Suggestion, stay away from this company they will tell you all the best for their product until you buy product.
I got my blinds here, Neth was very helpful when helping me choosing the best option for my house. Pete and Quinn were very professional when installing blinds for me. They gave me a very good price, quality of service and products are very good!
I am very happy for the look and the quality of the celluar shades and blinds for the patio sliding door. The overall experience with Budget Blinds was great, especially Neth went above and beyond to help me get the right products and good pricing. Thank you Neth and your installation team!
