It was a wonderful experience having dinner there. The dish I would recommend most is Golden sticky Rice w. Seasame & sugar. The mouthfeel is both crunchy and velvety. The Braised Beef Noodle was also a standout, definitely worth a try. I’m looking forward to being there again.Food: 5/5
Authentic Jiangnan dim sum and dishes. The buns are very juicy and tasty, not too salty or oily. Overall environment and interior is awesome. Love the food and the store. Will definitely come back again!
My first time to try Jiangnan food. The portions of food they serve are large! I love the mochi! it tasted amazing! Other dishes are good as well!Food: 4/5
Braised Beef Brisket Noodle in Soup was flavourful and filling Also, really enjoyed their Pan-Fried Leek Dumplings Food: 5/5
Food quality is averagely ok, but not authentic in any way. Also pretty clear that not too much attention was paid to the details. Examples being: steamed soup dumplings had cracks on the skin and the soup leaked; meat filling wasn't too fresh and is on the too greasy side; style of vinegar is wrong way too strong; cold dishes taste good but don't really represent the cuisine style/region; noodles taste ok but the portion of topping/noodles/soup is way out of proportion. Overall, food is decently ok. if you are looking for decent food reasonably priced, this would be a pretty good choice. If you are looking for authentic southern style dim sum food, chief, this ain't it. this place feels like what it would be like if someone from the Northern part of China wanted to open a southern dim sum place and actually did, without hiring actually any Southerners to quality check for authenticity.
I heard good reputation from "little red book". I ordered take out. the food is disappointed. Juice Pork Steam Buns are pretty good, so as mini pork wontons. Hand Pulled Chicken in Szechuan Sauce, seem the pulled chicken from chicken made brooth, leftover mix with Szechuan Sauce. Worse dish is the dry noodle w/green Scallion oil. No taste at all. only see the dark color soy sauce noodles. Won't recommend
Fried buns look nice, but taste so so, maybe my expectation is too high as it is recommended by red book. Yes it's juicy, but the meat inside the bun does not taste good enough. one serving of buns were not hot, apparently not the real-time fresh.Food: 3/5
Pretty low key place serving some of the best dumplings in town. Prices are pretty good for the quality of their fresh made dumplings, service is very quick and efficient though we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. I suggest going here as a mid-afternoon meal or early dinner when it's not busy. Must-gets: pan fried pork buns, juicy pork buns steamed and w/ shepherd's purse, prawn and pork wontons, pan fried leek dumplings
Came here for dinner on Thursday evening, the restaurant was empty. The restaurant has around 8 tables and all are set up as table of 4. We were a party of 5, so we need add an extra chair on the side. Their menu is printed on a paper and you check your items yourself without an actual menu or pictures as a reference. We ordered xiaolongba, fried bun, beef brisket noodles, beef warp and mini wontons. I must say, the only dish can I could give a star to is the xiaolongbao. The fried buns are nearly burnt on the bottom and not eatable. The noodles were chewy but the broth and meat are blend, it got no taste. The beef wrap was hard. The mini wontons are also blend and the wonton wrap is still hard after cooking. There was only one person I believe she’s the boss that look after the restaurant, there were 4 tables including ours and she was too busy to help us to clear up the table with the empty plates. Will not recommend.
The staff that assisted us was friendly and knowledgable of their products. Love their food! But the service was the best Food: 5/5
