Jensen's food & cocktails

My husband talked about this place for years. He took me there for our anniversary tonight and I have to say..........I was impressed. The service was great, the staff were on top of things but never did we feel rushed. I didn't even realize they had cleared our dishes they were so not disruptive while doing so. Then there was the food, the Bob's bread was something my husband raved about and again.... I was impressed. I have never had bread like that in my life. I had the shrimp pasta and he had the steak plus we added the garlic mashed potatoes. The pasta was a flavor explosion in my mouth, the potatoes were amazing and the steak was perfect. I am excited to share my opinion and even more excited to go back as we definitely will be.

This is the Minnesota supper club experience refined. The wait staff was very attentive and personable. I had the prime rib and it was fabulous. There was some but not too much fat on it and it was cooked perfectly. The crab cakes were almost to Maryland standards and I say that because I used to live in Baltimore. I think one of the best things is that it is quiet enough that you can hold a conversation without raising your voice across the table. The price was fair versus other steak houses I've been to. I have paid far more for less at other restaurants. So, if you want an honestly good meal without all the atmospheric glitz this is a great place to go.

This might be one of the new go to places. The atmosphere is exactly what I expected. Not a ton of commotion or loud noises. Pretty much exactly what you would expect waking in. The food was great. I ordered a ribeye cooked medium and it was cooked perfectly. Juicy and flavorful. The Au Gratin potatoes are the number one reason I will be back. Seriously they are amazing. The only reason I can't give 5 stars in because the booth was pretty cozy, almost uncomfortable tight. And the waitress wasn't up to the level I would expect for a $120 meal. Not horrible but it could have been better. All things considered, I'll be back soon.

Hostess sat us in a timely manner. Very pleasant lady. Wait staff were very helpful. She stopped by just the right amount of times. The food was good. It was just hot enough and the plate was not hot. The chicken was actually grilled not fried/ grilled. Overall, good value with big portions.

Heaven on a plate. The service was impeccable. The waitress Ruby amazing. It was a perfect meal at a perfect place. If your in the area a must do.
