We love going to Jellybeanz. Nicole is amazing and knowledgeable. She has been styling my daughter's hair for years. We always receive amazing service and my daughter always loves her haircut!!
We arrived at jellybeanz for my 2 year old daughters first haircut to find out Nicole moved us to another stylist. When I questioned why she said she was busy. I explained I booked with her on recommendations.nI was told I could see someone else or go elsewhere. Nicole and who I believe was the owner was very rude about it.nWe were there so I stayed and we saw Victoria. She did a great job however the rudeness I received tainted my daughter's first haircut experience. I will NOT be returning or will never recommend
This was our first time here. I booked with Nicole based on recommendations and was moved to another stylist. My sons hair was poorly done, near his cow lick at the top of his head was shorter then the hair moving down his head towards his neck, resulting in a weird shape, there was no fading on the sides of his head also- resulting in a rounded, one length look. The person at the front desk was rushing the stylists, and I wasn't asked about the length on my nephews hair before he was being moved out of the chair. Honestly, it wasn't a great experience and we won't be back.nnEdit- after the response from the owner. No lies from my end. The girls were definitely being rushed, being told people were waiting and that they needed to finish up, at times being told other stylists would step in if they didnt hurry- this happened multiple times throughout the hour I was there we had 3 haircuts I left an 18% tip despite how disappointed I was with the experience because I felt bad for the girls and attributed much of the issues to terrible management.

I was debating posting this cause I can understand that small children can be difficult at times to cut hair but this experience after chatting with my bf will be the last time we come here. It was my son’s second haircut he’s ever had. He is under 3 and we got his first hair cut here and the lady we had then was amazing!! And my son was excited to go again but then got really nervous when starting. We tried to help hold him to get his hair cut but it got to a point that we needed to take a break and let my son breathe to calm down. My bf took him over to look at the toys and when I looked at the person that was cutting his hair she seemed really annoyed that we did this. The last hair dresser we had for his first hair cut chatted with our son and had some compassion towards him, this one did not. Then we tried again to just try and get it over with but my son was still not having it and we also noticed that the front reception person was covering her ears which didn’t help us feel comfortable in this situation so we decided to stop. I apologized and said I’ll pay for it she was kind to just charge us not the full amount. But THEN, the thing that upset me the most was someone else standing behind the desk ask if my son had SENSORY ISSUES!?! Are you kidding me!?!? I think she could tell I was a little shocked and I tried to cover up how annoyed I was at that comment and then she said “she asks people that.” I think that is something that you should never ask a parent!!! That is so extremely RUDE!! If a parent wants to mention something like that that is their choice. I don’t know if this was the owner or the person in charge of the place but I think questions like that should be reevaluated. It’s too bad that this happened cause our first time was great but this experience… Nope will not be back!
