Got a cake here to celebrate a family member’s birthday. I loved the cake we got; it was fluffy and not too sweet with contrasting flavours. Even if you’re someone who gets sick of sweets quickly, the frosting on top was light and bubbly and the icing inside was soft and didn’t have an overly-sugary taste. We ended up finishing the entire thing in less than 10 minutes. Service was good too! Staff was friendly and got our order quick and correct. Will come back soon for any cake orders in the future.
it was my first time ordering at Jellybean cake and it was an amazing experience for me! When my friend went to go pick up the cake for me he was running a bit late but the Korean lady was being so generous and even gave him a free moon cake! Also, the cake was amazing, everyone at the party enjoyed it. I loved how the cake wasn’t too sweet and the frosting was honestly the best frosting I have ever had!! Definitely will order again!!
This is my 2nd time ordering from jelly bean and each time I am more and more impressed! I usually stick to simple flavours like chocolate and cheesecake but seeing how they can make me like something like a blueberry cake for a birthday is definitely something to be applauded. My whole family was saying they hadn't eaten such a cake before - so moist and not overly sweet! Good job jellybean you have gained a life time customer ^.^
I only give five stars because I cannot give six. All cakes are made from the best organic ingredients and they are true artworks. I particularly recommend the strawberry shortcake. Excellent place, outstanding customer service. Thank you.
We did a cake class with the Jellybean staff and it was hands down one of the most fun cooking classes I've taken in the city. The team at Jellybean were prompt and courteous in communication, and the class was well organized where all our ingredients were pre-measured, and the cooking space was neat. The cake itself was absolutely delicious: not too sweet, light and fluffy and had a subtle, clean flavour. We make the Earl Grey Chiffon Cake, and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend their cooking classes, and cakes.
Ordered for the first time, strawberry shortcake.. loved it every bite.. was not too sweet and not heavy at all .. Light and fluffy.. Owner was very sweet as well.. highly recommend this place
I got the 6 inch strawberry shortcake. I have tried cakes from alot of different Korean bakeries but I do think that the cake at this place is top in Toronto. It was worth the price and I'm going back for the class once its being offered again. Cake has been moist as I didnt need any milk to eat the cake. Whipped cream is fresh and very yummy and the cake is not too sweet so you can always eat more haha. Overall, cake well done i would visit again. Trust my reviews folks.
The best cake ever in toronto, the texture is so smooth and soft, i love it and definitely will order again.
Order via Uber, totally worth the price. Got the blueberry and tiramisu croffle. The texture was crunchy and if you aren’t into sweet things this is just right for you.
I wanted to try the cake that I bought first before writing a review so that this is a fair review. I'll start with the positive. The earl grey chiffon cake was really delicious. The cream was soft, smooth, and the earl grey flavor was subtle but still came through. I really liked the cake and it was definitely well made. What I didn't appreciate about this business was the inconsistent messaging. If you a run a business, what your services are should be crystal clear. I actually came about a week ago, and looks like the business ended up updating their google information a week ago. I had suggested they make their business clear that they are take out and pick up only. It wasn't very obvious at the time when I visited and I had only walked in for an unhappy staff member to tell me they don't sell anything in store. I felt unwelcomed for sure from a first impression and first time visitor. Another staff member decided to offer to make me a cake in 15 minutes and I just had to wait for it. I had made the trip, so I waited. It did end up being closer to an hour for the cake to finish, but I didn't mind. It kind of seemed like they were just squeezing me for a sale at this point. What I found more inconsistent was when one of the staff cashed me out for the cake told me they do sell product sometimes. So it was just confusing. Very mixed messaging. So you don't sell items in store, but you do? Which one is it? Are you pickup/takeout only? Or can you do in store shopping? It was just confusing and a bit disappointing. Their signage on their door did also not indicate pickup or takeout only. I had assumed it would be a bakery that you can buy slices of cake etc. But maybe I wasn't being observant enough on their socials or website at the time. However, just so everyone knows and doesn't make the same mistake I did. This place is PICKUP and TAKEOUT only.
