The $7 fruit tea was surprisingly good, albeit a bit too sweet due to the syrup, and pricy for what it's worth. To be fair though, it's a good refreshing drink for a hot summer day. The $6 condensed milk toast was a major disappointment. First, the bread was awful. Just awful. Instead of using high-quality brioche bread, they use some kind of cheap alternative that was dry and stale. When you skimp on quality ingredients, you get disappointed customers like myself who will not come back in the future. All in all, I'm never coming back for condensed milk toast but I might pop in to grab a fruit tea in the summer.
Hk sweets was a great place to go to , the staff were very nice and accommodating the balls very hot and fresh and best of all the mango egg waffles / rainbow egg waffles were by far the best in the city ! Would definitely recommend this place for all ages .. also a great place for couples or even a date
I like HK Sweets. Not only do they have nice servers, great desserts, they also have savory meals! I got the hot honey green tea, matcha shaved ice, and mixed fruit waffle.
Ordered the golden Mango sago with grass jelly. The Mano syrup was too sweet, and not a lot of Mango was given. The sago was big which was nice, but lacked the QQ texture. Grass jelly had a slight bitter taste to it which was kind of nice to mimic the herbal jelly taste, but it was a bit dense. The takoyaki was also alright. It was a bit over fried or the oil they used was old, so the balls came out quite dark. It was missing Bonito flakes which would've made it taste even better. These balls seems to have more squid in other places which was nice.
Friendly Staff on Sunday. A baked cheese beef brisket on rice is amazing. The mango lovers drink is one of the must-try drink in here!! One of the best food places in Toronto.
Nice little place for bubble tea and desserts. Got the large Mango Tapsago and it was delicious. Prices are a little high, but considering it’s on Yonge street it makes sense. Overall good quality, nice service and good variety of options.
Honeydew milk tea and mango sushi with tapioca balls...yummy The lovely staff gave us service of a free ice cream as well....so sweet...definitely come back again and would recommend the boba
Great variety of drinks and desserts! Not a huge space but big tables could fit group of 4. They also have small boardgames. Would come back to try more
Fun place for Hong Kong desserts. Their flavours are quite authentic. Prices are a little higher than what you would find in Markham but entirely within reason for the location. The menu seems to grow each time I go here.
Interesting and different options for dessert and bubble tea. The rainbow pancakes are refreshing and the marshmallow toast is good for those with a sweet tooth, and also gigantic. The summer mango drinks are also refreshing and sweet. The toast took 15' to make but the sugar rush was worth it.
