While I prefer an English cottage garden, the French gardens at Plains of Abraham are beautiful. A perfect stop, you can sit and recharge your batteries after a long day walking around.
One of my favorite spots in the city to read, have a good meal with some friends and enjoy the outdoors while looking at the Saint Lawrence river.
This small rectangle of land IS spring. I dare you to go there during the warmer months and not smile. I'm not convinced that Joan of Arc has ever been here though. Seems quite the detour on a horse me thinks.
