DON'T MISS OUT: arguably one of the best kept secrets in Vancouver's Japanese food scene? This is the real deal. Operating from a Japadog stand next to a Wendy's in the south end of the city, and supplied by a nearby kitchen, the rice bowls follow Japanese styles and include favourites such as gyu-don, katsu-kare, chashu bowls, and recently udon and soba dishes, as well as assortment of sides including croquettes. This is not a restaurant sadly, no seating, but in terms of food quality I find that this place quite possibly beats everyone else in town. Incredible taste, and did I mention that the portions are fairly sizable! Although you can only order on online delivery platforms Uber Eats and Skip, you CAN pick up, and easily access this place by driving, cycling Ontario bikeway, or taking the bus it's next to Marine Drive and routes 3/100, 2 stops from the SkyTrain. In the COVID area it's not easy to find an authentic donburi place like this so I highly appreciate. P.S. the melted cheese bowl is worth the extra money

ordered on uber eats. got the chicken karaage and takoyaki. food was mediocre. not enough sauce on the chicken and rice was way too mushy and wet.

Had the takoyaki, corn croquette, and pork cutlet. Flavorful and tasty with good prices. Ordered via Uber Eats and the order was processed very quickly by the chefs. Was pleasantly surprised by this unassuming little kitchen. Great if you're craving simple Japanese staples and in a hurry.

Ordered the pork cutlet curry. Tastes average. I think there should be more curry, because once I finished about half the bowl, I was left with plain rice.

I ordered pickup from uber eats pick. Location was not correct. Food was just ok - you can definitely get better japanese curry in the city for the same price! Croquettes and tako-yaki were alright.

Ordered online and actually really love this restaurant! Great takoyaki, good portions, and tasty gyu dons and chasu dons.

Really good, thought it could be small so I was glad I was eating with family but turned out to be quite filling. Taste was great too
