If it's one thing the pandemic taught us it's how little fuss and fancy we really need to survive. We all need haircuts, but do we really need to spend $200 and two hours being pampered and fussed over? We do not. Jane's Hair Salon is fantastic. You walk in, wait a few minutes while she finishes the customer ahead of you, then it's your turn, and less than half an hour you're out the door with a great haircut and your wallet only $22 lighter. I love this place! I'll be back when my bangs get too long. I got pretty good at trimming my bangs during the pandemic, but now that I've found Jane, I'll let her handle it!Service: Hairstyling

Finally found my hairdesser here in Toronto! Jane is the best! Takes her time in perfecting your hair cut, she is very professional and passionate. Her prices are very fair. $15 for a basic cut electric shaver and some scissor work and it turned out pretty good. Toronto barber shops are absolute fraudsters right now with their pricing. Don't waste your money, come here.

Perfect place for a no-nonsense, affordable haircut. I've been going there for years and every time I've been somewhere else, it wasn't as good and it was more expensive. This is the best place I've gone to in the city for a man's haircut. Don't expect them to wash your hair unless you specifically ask for that and then it's a couple bucks extra at least that's what it says on the sign outside; I've never actually done it. You just show up, sit in the chair and she cuts your hair exactly how you want it.

A small hair salon, don't let the décor dismay you as the service is pretty good. The hair stylist knows what they are doing and the the rates are fairly affordable. For a men's cut it's only $15. Worth checking out.Services: Hairstyling

Affordable haircut, 25 for women’s cut only no wash. I think they are walk-ins only because I tried to call for an appointment but they said to just come in any time. So just be prepared to wait a bit in case there are others ahead of you.

Have been using Jane as a primary go-to place for well over a decade now. I remember the good old days when she was just starting out and the cut use to be $6!! And with a wash, $8!!! There wasn't typically anyone there back then and it would be right to the chair when you arrive. These days, Jane has built up a good amount of loyal patrons which might lead to one or two clients ahead of me. This is still not a big deal as wait times are concerned. The speediness of her cut, matched with whatever style being 95% accurate and the low cost for a cut is all I can ask for!! Now her prices are comparable to any quick style Asian salon still way more affordable than any barber shop or mid/high end salon. I waited over 10 years to give her a rating as to hide the gem of a place! Now seeing her rating as only 4.5, I'm here to help it nudge closer to that perfect that she well deserves.
