Fresh wholesome ingredients, delicious dishes served up daily. James the owner loves time on the floor to mingle with the guests. Special nights throughout the year to watch for..wine tasting, music nights and such.

What a great experience. We were in town for our sons ball game and just dropped in for a quick bite. Both the potato bacon and bean soups were home made and excellent. Followed up with a "Grazer" burger and a Greek salad - veggie burger, salad dressing and gravy for the fries were all delicious with unique chef touch flavours. Portions were fine, could have munched on a few more fries, but certainly didn't need them. Local Sons of Kent Ale (IPAish) -excellent. I forget the Cab-Sauv we had but again local and quite good. Really cool back story to the building depicted in funky aged portraits on the reclaimed brick walls. Some have suggested there was a bit of a "spooky" history to the building as well. The James Street Eatery was a sincerely cool place to hang out in for a bit and the food was certainly fresh, well prepared and quite tasty.

This place was truly a Hidden Gem. I love that they have so many healthy options and that they think outside of the box with their menu specials. I decided to try something new and I'm so glad that I did. It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be going here again on my next trip to Wallaceburg
