JagaSilk Tea Bar

No doubt, Jagasilk is my favourite place for tea! I first heard of this place through Bright Jenny in Kelowna that offers their tea lattes but I decided to stop by their shop when I was visiting Victoria. They have the friendliest staff! So knowledgeable and so passionate about what they do! I was really glad to hear that a couple of Vancouver cafes also offer their products, I think they mentioned Small Victory, Kafka’s and Matchstick. They also offer tea service on Fridays, I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Victoria

If you’re into great tea brewed properly and sourced direct from farmers in Japan then this is your spot. They always have the best quality and freshest teas on offer backed up with an in depth knowledge on everything from growing to enjoying that perfect cup of tea. I’m a huge fan of their Senchas when I have time to enjoy the third seep. When I’m on the go all of the latte mixes are perfect. They fire and mill everything in house in small batches and it shows in the consistent quality. Mmmmmmm. Thank you Jagasilk.

An absolute gem in downtown Victoria! The maccha, tea, iced tea, kombucha and desserts are all phenomenal! The live music has been incredible too! I have seen everything from Classical to Jazz to folk, rock and early music come through. I highly recommend checking out the Musical Tea series! Also an amazing place for traditional maccha bowls and whisks :

Amazing maccha/matcha! Really great quality and price. I have tried many different types and this is the most enjoyable to drink. I feel good about supporting a business that cares about their products, and feel like this is very rare today and something special. I love the subscription service. Thank you so much!

Jared is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. What a wonderful experience! He generously spent the afternoon with us as we sampled all the items on their menu. If you're lucky enough to get the chance to visit their shop, do! Otherwise I'd highly suggest stocking up on their teas because they are unbeatable. You can find their teas and lattes at Wheelbase Cafe in the Cowichan Valley.

Always the best matcha and desserts in Victoria! Lovely patio and excellent Covid precautions. Great service and we always look forward to visiting. Everything served in compostable containers which we love!

Such a cute little place with some amazing tea. I really enjoyed learning a little bit about the brewing process. The owners are very passionate and knowledgeable. I’m excited to try it again when they open in person to get the full experience!

Amazing atmosphere - Jared has an extensive knowledge of his craft and pays meticulous attention to detail; also the nicest customer service experience I've ever had. I didn't realize there was so much to learn about tea. The most amazing tea-drinking experience!

I never was interested in or especially liked tea until my girlfriend brought me here. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and their tea and maccha is delicious. Jared, one of the owners, explained what to look for with tea and helped start me with my own proper tea brewing. Can't say enough good things about JagaSilk.
