Jake's Boathouse

Slow service. Food was typical pub fare. Not too bad, but nothing special. The ambiance is lively and they have live music on the weekends. Good for groups on a pub night.

Go figure. This place is quite excellent. Attended a retirement party. The host venue was great. The food was terrific. The place was Lively and cleaning up. There is a bit of a shortage of parking but that is okay.

One of my favorite places to go. The food is great, service excellent and the owner is an awesome guy. Great atmosphere here with live entertainment usually on Fri and sat. The back room is available to rent for special occasions and is often rented. This place is kind of like a sports bar with the TVs on the walls playing sports or what have you. A place where you feel welcomed and never rushed out the door.

Love the live entertainment. Some times the waitresses are a little slow when there is bands playing. Food is very good and well priced for the portions you receive.

The restaurant is dated, but clean. Went on a Monday night and only one server was working the entire dining room. She was very friendly and nice, but slow and probably busy with other patrons. We had to wait for over ten minutes for her to notice our drinks needed to be refilled and another five minutes to get the drinks from the bar. Food was hot and tasty, but just average. I would go again and give it another try.
