Jade Palace

By far best Chinese restaurant in town. Little pricey, but compared to everywhere else in town, its worth it. Lunch special is a really good deal if you can catch it. Staff is always friendly, establishment is clean, and up to date decor. I've never been disappointed eating there.

Tasty Asian food option for SE Iowa, always fresh and delicious. All the typical options you would expect to see at a finer dining Chinese place, plus a few unique ones. Try the Jade's chicken or the three ingredient. Thanks for being in Ottumwa.

I'm having to change my rating after eating at this restaurant today. My mom and I both thought the dish that we ordered had a funny taste (I had trio and mom had beef and broccoli) kind of perfume like...something weird came out of her soup that looked like a piece of fat she said she didn't like the taste and I didn't have the courage. The waitress, Fiona, couldn't explain the menu well, therefore we took our chances. On the way out, I placed my hand in vomit that was on the door handle and covered the entry way. I turned around to go clean my hands and tell someone, when Fiona, who had just taken my money at the register said she knew it was there and was going to clean it up. She shoud have told us before we walked right into it! How disgusting. At this point, I think it was the food that had made that guest sick...along with the heat. Regardless, terrible experience and we will not be returning.

Have eaten lunch and dinner here several times. Service is always excellent. It is nice not to have to fight your way through a buffet. Food is made to order and comes out hot and and delicious.

Food was fresh enough but too salty to eat. Plastered with msg. Terrible service.
