Last time...Good food & drink but slow service & had to constantly ask for things...this time was much better. Service was gr8 & my steak was perfect. Recommend Beau as server.

The food was very good.  The portion sizes are a little small (hence only 4 stars), but I can imagine that for some people, those portions are just fine. The kitchen staff had a small snafu while I was there and unfortunately my meal was delayed. The staff made this right with me and I was completely satisfied. Compared to some of the experiences I've had it other places Applebee's in Ottumwa outperformed my expectations. Well done!

Food wasn't all that great. Service was halfway decent. All in all okay i guess.
