• It’s currently $23 per person, tax & tip included • Food was really cheap, half of it was cold • Meats are dry, fried food too • They have weird beverage dispensers that are just GROSS. So dirty. I took a picture • You have to pay before you see the buffet. Waiters are nice but only get you water. Never asked us if we wanted to drink anything else. • The bathroom is dreadful. Seriously straight up from a horror movie. Gross as well. • The smell near some parts of the buffet is just yuck. • Not a lot of dishes. The sushi aren’t good at all. • Finally, you get a wonderful palette of deserts: wannabe apple pie, frosted sponges made to look like actual cake, and also a fruit salad that’s about 3 weeks past it’s expiration date. • Probably having an indigestion right now as I’m typing this. Was it because of the kitchen not being clean enough, the food being too cheap, or because of how greasy everything was, who knows! And no, do not recommend this place to a friend. But definitely to that annoying coworker you hate!
1st awkward thing is, you are required to pay at the entrance even prior to seeing the buffet & being seated. The overall cleanliness is ok but could use a little more TLC, Especially the restroom. As for the buffet itself, it's ok but options are limited. Not all cantonese classic dishes are available. The desert table also only has three choices. We were never asked if we wanted anything to drink, were given water at the beginning & as soon as our glass was empty. Only other time we saw anyone was when they'd pick up our plates. The one thing that was delicious was their egg rolls. The fried rice & steamed broccoli were also good. Would unfortunately not return. Not worth the 43.00 for two people with the service & buffet options.
Food is horribly salty and some dishes just run out or not added. If there are plenty it’s inedible. It’s not because customers pay the basic with service charge that it has to be so salty so that they can extract the maximum out of each one of us.
I think a lot of these reviews are way too harsh. Yes its not high class or anything amazing, and yes they have some bad options I would stay away from the juices, pizzas and all the noodle/pasta dishes but they also have some really solid options Almost all of their fried foods are good and their shumais were delicious Its just one of those places were you can get pretty decent for very cheap. Its only 17$ 23 after tip/tax Theres definitely better buffets out there, but none beat that price.
Both the take out and the all you can eat here are pretty good. The all you can eat buffet option is much better value. Right now with covid I have not gone since 2019 but have been ordering with uber eats. Hope to go back soon for that buffet. The take out has a huge menu which is basically meal sized portions of various items you can get at the buffet.
Every item was great ! Highly recommend recommend - great value and great food. LOTS of vegetarian options, soup, sushi, noodles, meat, fruit !
Pay before eating Plenty of food options Steamed broccoli was perfectly cooked All other items were delicious but as with any buffet the food can get dried out if not refreshed/stirred. Juices, coffee, and tea come with your buffet price Plenty of seating available Friendly staff
When I visit Montreal, I often go to this restaurant. I like having lunch here because of the wide variety of food. I like the lunch buffet. I have been to this restaurant several times and have not been disappointed so far.
No frills, tasty Chinese food with good portion sizes. Takeaway includes various dim sum, and noodle and rice dishes. All the takeaway food is pictured and numbered in the menu, which makes ordering quick and easy.Food: 4/5
For 20 dollars buffet, this is the best place. Have been to Montreal so many times, this is the first time me and my boyfriend visit this restaurant, food is good, drink is good, absolutely worth the price. The male server who speaks Cantonese is perfect, always come fill the water and clean the dishes immediately when we are done. Great servicesFor sure will come again
