Delicious flaky crust. Quality ingredients made right. I do feel like the price is a little high for the size and lack of overhead. How do food trucks charge resturant prices when they have almost none of the restaurant costs? Does make for a nice snack though with a cider or beer from next door.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: Yes
Yum! Classic and cheese was super flavorful, and pretty filling. The $2 potato wedge addition is a must. Very good handmade pies here. Would love to try the pasties and rolls next time.
Had The Joe Burls with Stack It. The mushy pea serving seemed small at first for $5, but once we stacked it on the pie with the mash and gravy, it was fine. The cheddar and bacon overpowered the rest a bit, so I think I would have liked the Classic, but that's just my personal preference. The pie and gravy were both tasty and done well, so great option for meat pie.
Just recently found this food truck. As someone who spent a lot of time in Australia, when I saw the Ned Kelly pie on the menu I jumped for joy. Tried it, absolutely delicious and very authentic to the kind you get in OZ. Their classic is amazing too. Will be coming back on the regular. Makes me miss Australia
This has become one of my favorite places to eat in Bend. I love meat and they're all delicious pies but my go to is the vegan boomerang with mango chutney, amazing curry and veggies. Super cool and friendly people running the show. I highly recommend going here and grabbing a beer from on tap too, so perfect.
As an Aussie I can confirm these pies are the real deal, great with a beer or cider from next door!
Decent flavor but portions toddler are toddler sized. $10 from a food truck should have some weight. Definitely not a stop for hard working, hungry people. Wouldve been happier with a smile and a vegemite sandwich. Thanks but no thanks from the land down under!
This place is actually called Duda’s Aussie Pies. They have a website if you search for it. I placed an order over the phone for a 13 person meeting I needed food for. The order was ready on time and customer service was great. I had to keep the food in a cooler for three hours until it was time to eat, but the pies were still flaky and warm when we ate. The food tasted great and was very popular with everyone.
Delicious! Went with the classic and a pizza pie for my kid. Flaky, warm, good filling! And the potato wedges were so much better than any deli. Omm nom nom. We will be back!
Delicious! Tried the Classic. Flaky crust with awesome stew
