Thank you, Melissa, Tammy and Helen for answering so many of my questions and being so supportive at this difficult time. I couldn’t have gotten through this without you. This is so much more than just a funeral home. They’ve literally thought of every aspect of care when it comes to bereavement and loss. Not only did they help with the practical side of what happens when someone passes, they also provided incredible support in organizing my Dad’s celebration of life. From the flowers to the food, the attention to detail was unparalleled.
The first funeral we used J.A and they were great to deal with! We used J.A again because we had a good experience with them before. The day of the funeral, Lorraine was snotty, had an attitude and her impatience was obvious and completely unprofessional. I will never recommend J A as long as Lorraine is employed there. Don’t work in a funeral home dealing with grieving people if you simply can’t be kind, empathic, and professional about it.
They went above and beyond to help us navigate during the pandemic. Our Mom had bought a plan around 25 years ago and they honoured every aspect of their agreement, even though she was now in a home almost 2 hours away. They walked me through all the paper work needed. They were kind and respectful.
JA Snow helped us beyond our expectations in our time of need. This was my first experience with planning/getting every detail sorted out after the death of my mother, and they made me feel supported along every step of the way. Special mention to Leslie as he was the one who took care of us, at no point did I feel pressured, overwhelmed, or that my needs were not heard. I would recommend this funeral home to anyone who has lost a loved one.
My experience with the staff at JA Snow Funeral home was excellent They were patient, professional and very helpful. I don thing they could have done anymore than they did.They were there for myself and my family every step of the way and to say I appreciated it would be an understatement. At such a hard tine in my life they were there to make everything better for me. Thank you do much to Gregory, Lorraine, Robert and Helen. You made a not so easy time into an easier time.
I have never given a Google review before, but in the case of JA Snow's, I simply had to share my experiences with the public, as I know that when they are needed, people are vulnerable and require extra care. I have had to employ Snow's twice in the past 4 years, and both times we were treated with care, grace, professionalism, sensitivity, and fairness. Most recently I worked with Marie and Lorraine, both wonderful at their jobs, but the entire staff were truly compassionate and excellent with my family members during a time of grief and crisis. And honestly, I thought pricing was fair and included many services I would not have wanted to deal with myself at that time. I am grateful to all at Snow's and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Our family recently benefited from the wonderful service provided by JA Snow's funeral home. From the moment we connected with Leslie to make arrangement for our Mom to the final overview on-going services available to our family we could not have been more pleased with the caring, compassionate way we were treated. Amidst Covid there were some restrictions but working with us they made it possible to give our Mom the celebration of Life she deserved. A heartfelt thanks to Leslie and all the staff that helped make this difficult time so special.
