J Squared Ice Cream

Not my favourite ice cream, but I really wanted to try the “Asian” inspired flavours at this location. I found the ice cream “too soft” for my liking. The flavours were there but not very flavourful. If you’re looking for some more interesting and Asian type flavours like milk tea, hojicha, this is the place to go for those cravings! No seating inside or outside so it’s a little hard to have ice cream with your friends at this location. Mostly just sit in your car and enjoy the ice cream. Service was okay, just did their job and we got our ice cream.

Tried: Shanghai Fog Thai Milk Tea Lavender White Tea Quality was very good. The flavors were very fragrant and memorable from the moment you taste it. They nailed the flavors with these. My friend and I can't forget how delicious it was and we craved it the following week and wanted to go back. Only downside is you can't taste the icecream before buying but I'm from the US so it's not fair to apply such standards/cultural norms to CAN. Though, perhaps this would be better for business if they allow ONE sample. Then again, you often can't sample things at high quality places. It's not cost effective for such a business. Some reviews here are dumb for giving bad reviews/lower ratings based on subjective taste without providing objective criticism. If you like strong flavors, ask which are strong and avoid the light flavors like me. They're very honest and were helpful! If they don't nail the flavor effectively, tell them and complain here. If you dislike Jasmine tea then order Shanghai Fog, then leave a crummy review, you're just dumb

Delicious ice cream! Loved the unique flavours. We happily tried Teaffee, lucky charms, sesams, thai milk tea, taiwanese pineapple cake and malted milk chocolate. You can tell it’s good quality ice cream and I will definitely recommend this place go those looking for a new ice cream spot. Note that they don’t have any seating as it’s a small shop, but worth the visit!

I went there with my family and had three different type of ice cream. Quick Cap and what we ordered. I recommend this but do 2 scoops because one was not good enough. I had 2 scoops on my 2nd visit with two different flavours. 1. Very clean and modern shop 2. The ice cream was delicious and not overly sweet What we ordered 1. Sweet Dreams-Good but not something I would say must try 2. Shanghai Fog-Delicious with a tasted of Jasmine tea, reminds me of London Fog but Asian style 3. Matcha Green Tea- Love matcha green tea and it had a good amount of matcha flavour.

So yummy!!! Great flavour selection—not too many, but lots of unique Asian flavours : My favourite is the Black Sesame fragrant and reminds me of eating tangyuan! Also the Shanghai Fog is delicious if you like tea—very potent tea flavour but not overbearing. Oolong Milk also is great and tastes like bubble tea. Personally this might be one of my favourite icecream stops I’ve ever been to—we just randomly came upon it, but the flavour selection is unique and none of them are overbearingly sweet!!! Would definitely recommend to try !!

J Squared Ice Cream - a lovely place for asian inspired ice cream Black Sesame 8.5/10 you can taste the flavour! the flavour is rich and goes well as ice cream it’s a bit gritty so it can get caught at the back of your throat vietnamese coffee 8/10 very strong coffee flavour and i personally prefer sweeter flavours. it’s very creamy and melts on your tongue thai milk tea 7.5/10 the flavour wasn’t as strong as i would have liked. it was pretty mild and the bits of tea leaves added texture to the flavour dirty oreo 9/10 this surprised me as the ice cream is smooth with chunks of cookie. the oreos is blended well with the rich base. it’s different from a mcflurry because the chocolate is incorporated into the ice cream so well! shanghai fog is a personal 10/10! the jasmine milk tea goes so well as ice cream and it’s a smooth mild experience! it isn’t super heavy and i could easily have a whole pint! pandan 8/10 - it was refreshing in the same way as mint but had a mild flavour. it’s interesting and i would recommend it if you like sorbet this would be great on a hot summer day to cool down not pictured i vaguely remember the roasted oolong milk tea being great too! 8.5/10 i think i prefer the lighter tea flavour of jasmine. it had great flavour and you could really taste the roasted oolong tea. you would like this if you enjoy chatime’s roasted milk tea! wish there was indoor sitting and more permanent flavours

The flavours of the ice cream were so creative! I loved it. It’s creamy but not overly sweet. My order was the roasted oolong tea and the tea flavour was great!

Delicious ice cream!! They have all the flavours I enjoy eating and can’t get enough of it. I tried their Thai tea, Dirty Oreo and milk tea in pint sizes. I couldn’t choose which one was my favourite because they were all delicious! It’s as if the bubble tea flavours turned into an ice cream version. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love the ice cream here! The tea flavor ice cream is so special. We had Shanghai Fog, Roasted Oolong, Thai Milk Tea, and Black Sesame. My favourite are Shanghai Fog and Roasted Oolong since they both have strong tea flavour and less sweet. Thai Milk Tea is my husband’s favourite flavour, it’s sweeter than Oolong and Shanghai Fog, but it’s quite good though. Black Sesame is also very special, we love how it tastes and didn’t regret trying it, but didn’t buy the pints. And the stuff is very friendly. Update1: We had Peach Milk Tea & POG today, Peach Milk Tea is less sweet than the other one. Both are good, but I prefer Peach Milk Tea flavour. Update2Tried Matcha and Dirty Oreo today. Both were good.
