J's Apron has a small and limited menu but after visiting here a few times, I can say that everything they do serve is thought out well with care. Their aburi sushi is unique and flavourful, but my favourite would have to be their eggs benedict and shrimp osakatsu. Tables and seating is limited!
The restaurant was amazing with very good options.. be it Interiors, Food or Customer service! Very nice experience overall with their food - salmon Sushi tasted Great and most importantly the dessert with wine sauce was Brilliant. Highly recommend this place for Brunches!
The salmon Osaka was delicious - it melted in your mouth! The potato chips were a nice thickness and seasoned well. Did not taste greasy at all. The Hawaiian pulled pork eggs Benedict was good. The pulled pork flavour was great and was not drowned by sauce. However I found the eggs themselves were a little bit under done.
Came here at 1:30 on a Saturday and it was full up. The restaurant is quite small so I'd recommend making a reservation. We were told it was going to be about 10 minutes but it ended up being closer to 40 since the table we were waiting on didn't leave quickly enough. We were offered high chairs to wait in the meantime and to browse the menu. When we were eventually seated we were notified that our order of the J's Osaka and the Italian sushi was all sold out for today which was surprising to us. It was kind of the reason why we came so we were disappointed, we could've gone to a different place if we knew supply was an issue so GO EARLY since it sells out quickly on Saturdays. We ended up ordering different dishes and so I got the tuna salad which was so good. The flavors blended together so nicely, sweetness of the peppers, the saltiness of the tuna, light oil of the greens and it was together all super light. I would give this place a 5 for food but took one star away for the long wait and lack of notice on the limited menu. Not really their fault though since they're fairly new and had only one waitress that day.
Delicious food. Great service, intimate atmosphere... They were really nice even though my friend and I lost track of time and overstayed or visit! Never rushed us or anything.
Very unique, loved how their sauces really brought out the Asian aspect of the fusion food. Small cozy brunch place.
It's my best place in toronto! Awesome dishes and dessert, friendly staff and cozy place. I really enjoyed a Italian pasta sushi, tuna steak salad and some dessert. I highly recommand this restaurant!
Nice brunch! Had the Hawaiian pulled pork eggs benny with the potato wedges. Both were great! The J's Osaka bites are also delicious.
Food is decent but i ordered toasted sourdough. The photo is what I've got for a Toasted sourdough bread. I don't know when i ordered a heated bread?? So ordered a butter on the side to be able to make the sourdough works. Chunks of butter was what i got. I really don't think I'd be coming back when there are so many alternatives around the town.
Perfect place to spend time nom matter by myself or with my friends! The decor is delicates and people are so friendly! Amazing coffee and lovely mini vanilla muffin!
