Arrived well before close 9pm on a weekday. Most of their selections were empty. My SO went to get some of the non-dairy options, because she can't have dairy, only to find both options near empty she ended up with about a third of a cup of fro-yo. The counter staffer could see our trouble, but made no comment. We got toppings, paid and left. The frozen yogurt tasted bland. The toppings were the only good part. Would not recommend.
As we are all aware, fro yo is a scam where they make very large cups to con people into buying more yoghurt than any individual would reasonably consume. I’ve spent a lot of time cultivating an ability to measure out a normal human amount of yoghurt into a large cup. That being said, this place has an extra weird atmosphere. Sort of dismal and ethereal. Could be fun if you’re having that kind of day. Remember that certain toppings really contradict each other so you have to be careful.
I often go for frozen yogurt on a whim, when I'm feeling like going out for a treat. It's unfortunate that this yogurt cafe is so unpredictably closed. They're commonly closed during hours they state online to open hours, often hours at the beginning and ending of shifts. It's been too many times that I show up with 2 hours left in the day or early in the shift after noon, and find this location unexpectedly closed. It can't be relied on for my occasional craving for frozen yogurt. I'll expect to go elsewhere and avoid rolling the dice on it actually being open.
It was a dream of mine to go there, because it looked really yummy and I always wanted to have some of their yogurt. But... it literally was a dream, because it did not really exist. There was just a sign that says "back in 5 minutes" and we were there for approximately 80 years. No one came, and we had to sit on the disgusting tables outside. My soul has died, and I no longer believe in true love. Would not recommend. Just go to Greg's ice cream.
Friendly staff, neat and clean. 2 flavours were "out of order", but mixins and toppins were all intact. During 1 visit, they ran out of orange juice for making smoothie but they had cranberry and grape juice. Overall, I would recommend if you are a froyo fan.
When I moved the lever, the machine sprayed green apple watery gunk all over me, my bag and the floor. Staff member glanced over and says "oh sorry about that," before going back to looking at her computer. After I asked she did prove me with a few tiny paper napkins to scrap the worst of it off and access to a sink. I think everything will wash out of my belongings, but I'm still sticky and in need of a shower. I understand that accidents happen, but that's no excuse for such horrific customer service. Truly disappointing.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and - they have a record player! I discovered some musical gems here while enjoying their delicious frozen yogurt. Highly recommended.
Frozen yogurts are just right, with a lot of variety Would give five stars if they didn't close at random times. Other than that it's a great place. there's also a little patio out front
One of the only independent froyo places left in the city. There's not overly special about the place, and the selection is limited, but if you like supporting the little guy, as I do, then you're good to go.
Great yoghurt! Owner is really nice and personable. Yoghurt is made with liquid milk, unlike menchies down the street that uses powder milk.
