I recently visited this park and found it to be an amazing spot to spend time with family, friends, or even alone. It is the perfect place for picnic and open ground for kids play. If you want to stay till dark, there are campfire spots. If you enjoy exploring and a bit of rock climbing, you can make your way to the shore through the rocks. It’s a peaceful place to sit, relax, and enjoy the sounds of water flowing and striking the rocks. Just be cautious and avoid the rocks with algae as they are slippery and could cause you to fall into the water.nnThe view from there is truly fascinating. At the intersection of the lake and sky, you can spot small clouds and tiny buildings in the distance, creating a surreal and picturesque scene.nnHowever, I did notice a couple of downsides. People have littered in few areas, which are the best spots to enjoy. Additionally, there were quite a few mosquitoes in some areas, likely due to the season.nnOverall, this place is a fantastic destination with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Just be mindful of the slippery rocks and the mosquitoes.nnIg- @touring_heart
Had a delightful afternoon stroll in a fascinating locale, rich with historical references and offering picturesque views of the water. While not all areas were accessible to the public, the walk was still immensely rewarding. Plus, witnessing the mesmerizing spectacle of ice dancing on the river was an unforgettable experience! Solid 10 out of 10.

A picturesque waterfront park, offering a serene atmosphere for a leisurely stroll along the water's edge. Its peaceful atmosphere and picturesque views of the city skyline make it a perfect spot for a leisurely waterfront walk. The park's well-maintained surroundings make it an excellent place to unwind and connect with nature. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a scenic urban vista, this park is definitely worth a visit.
Great park. The path is paved and easy to navigate. It has some great spots for photography or admiring the lakefront. The park offers a great view of a big old container ship that is used as a breakwater for the marina! see photo below there is a public restroom on site. The trails and park are always clean, tidy and free of hazards. The park has a neat water feature pond that ducks love to swim in. There is plenty of space in the grass to spread out and enjoy the nice weather with the family.
