J and G fried chicken

I've been a fan of there signature popcorn chicken since opening in this location, and I've always loved it and ordered pretty much over ten times so far. they have never disappointed me until today. The popcorn chicken looks fine and smells as usual but when I eat it it has a very strong sour taste. feels like the chicken has gone bad.... I thought it was only one bite and I tried other pieces it was all VERY sour! I know the weather is hot recently please check the meat make sure they are safe to eat! I sincerely hope the owner will take this problem seriously and give me a reply. 3 stars for the good taste of the past.

Delicious fried chicken! I ordered combo B and the popcorn chicken was very yummy and a little bit spicy. The squid balls were also good! Fair price and good place to grab a meal at the Aberdeen food court Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access in the food court.

Just wanted some fries and decided to try this place. Fries were ok, not too salty. But they gave you like a few fries for $4.00? Was more than 25 cent a fry?? We couldn't believe what a rip off this place is. Didn't even fill the bag half full for a FULL order of fries. This wasn't even a side, it was a full order.

A great place to try authentic Taiwanese style chicken. Marinated for 24 hours with 5 spice, white pepper and soy plus more. This is one of the best ways to prepare chicken. If you are into Korean crispy fried chicken, you have to try this place as well. I always order the three piece for take out. This has the flavour of the original. We always stop by here and grab a house special from neighbouring 8-juice.

The J&G chicken popcorns are as the same as the ones in Taiwan, even boneless. The staff is friendly. It takes you 10-15 minutes to wait, because they only fry it after you order.Recommended dishesSignature Popcorn Chicken

Was at the mall with co-worker for lunch, saw this place and went "Hey, why not" I got the combo #1, and I'll be honest it blew my mind. The chicken was incredible. It was super juicy and balanced with a wall of flavours. The yam fries were a perfect complement to them, and the buns were so soft. Highly recommend if you still by the area!

Happened to luck out a couple of weeks ago as I was picking some food in the food court during their soft opening. Because of the pandemic I don’t come here as often so I had no idea they were opening. Taiwanese chicken nuggets... Heck ya. Sign me up. Really enjoyed walking around snacking on these chicken nuggets. The seasoning was very flavourful yet seemed light to eat. There was a little kick to them but I am unsure if that is intentional. I noticed they use the same dish to portion your serving whether you ask for regular or spicy so does some of that rub off? Or is there supposed to be a slight spice? Either way it was great. Staff were all pleasant too something not necessarily common at Aberdeen

Recently opened Taiwanese style chicken place in the Aberdeen food court. Where the old Beard Papa was. It's meets your Taiwanese chicken expectations. Best part is that this place accepts DEBIT payments. Makes it like only 3 of the rest of the food vendors that do accept debit. The rest only accept cash, which had always limited my choices there.

Please get a better cashier than the male person on duty Jan 3rd. Get someone who is not condescending to customers and has even a tiny bit of patience when placing our orders. You don’t even need to find someone pleasant, just an usual polite cashier. Thank you.

$9 for half a bag of chicken nuggets. And there was about 6 pieces. So pretty much $1.50 for one nugget. This is not authentic Taiwanese chicken taste. It’s very sweet, lacks seasoning. Service slow, about 10 minute wait is quite slow for deep fry service
