Only an hour and a half north of the Twin Cities, Izatys Resort has been a favorite destination for vacationers since 1921. The facilities and accommodations at Izatys have been completely remodeled and updated, but some things never change – like our fantastic lakeside location and friendly, helpful staff. Situated on the beautiful southern shore of Lake Mille Lacs, Izatys offers a variety of fun activities and 18 holes of championship golf. Our restaurant offers fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere.

At Izatys, our goal is to make every guest feel comfortable, relaxed and happy. We take care of the details and provide unequaled service and friendly northern hospitality. Our staff is always ready to assist you, and provide every convenience to make your stay enjoyable.

On the way to the cabin and sick of bar food. This place is perfect. Server was sweet, we loved the views and the pickled herring and fresh celery soup was so good.

Izatys Resort was not what I expected. Upon arrival, there were no sheets for the fold-out couch. One member of our party, who has several allergies, asked for new sheets for her bed and was told housekeeping was not working. But whether or not they were there, the office should still have had access to clean sheets. It wasn't until the next day that they were able to give us new sheets. They also don't wash the comforters, blankets or mattress pads between guests. Gross. We were also trying to get a golf cart. Despite the fact that they said they would call me, they never did. Not even to tell me that no carts were available. The workout room consisted of 4 machines. That's better than nothing but if you need to get your gym on, this isn't the place. As I was checking out, the girl asked me how my stay was. I don't think she expected me to voice my concerns, but I didn't want to leave without giving them feedback. She couldn't have looked more bored and after a few seconds her cell phone rang and she took the call and left me waiting. I didn't finish telling her everything since it didn't seem like she was listening. Customer service was poor, amenities were poor and the cleanliness of the bedding was also poor. I won't be back :)

Bar was closed, course closed. Mouse traps in the timeshare unit with no heads up at check in. Hot tub jets were broken, was missing resting pads and had a known leak. Why do we own time share at a place with no amenities?????
