Really good concentrated tea flavor. Not watered down. One thing to caution is that 100% is not really sweet. Usually I have to do 50% sweetness at other places but 75% sweetness is not very sweet. Next time I will do 100%. The bubble waffle batter is made well. Inside the bubbles are gooey/mochi-like which is how it should be made. Other places make it too cake like and too dense. The only problem is that it does not keep its crunch very well. I received the item immediately after they said it was done, I opened the bag to let it air, and it was only a 13 min ride home. It was already not crunchy by then.
We tried It's Tea after dinner, a BBT chain that originated in Changshu, China. The menu consists of drinks and two desserts bubble waffle and taiyaki. Drink prices range from $6.00 to $7.80. - Matcha bubble waffle $5.50 - decent but several parts were overdone. - Fruit tea $7.00 - 50% sugar, easy ice and added taro balls $1.25. Balls were decent but not too taro-y. Tea flavour was okay. Think YiFang's fruit tea version is better. - Taro bobo $7.30 - drink comes with taro balls but J also added pearls $0.75. Nothing particularly memorable about It Tea.
Soya oolong milk tea, 75% sweet, was very good and had enough tea flavor. However I didn’t really like the barley, next time would just sub it with boba. Cute place and the service was good!
Glad to learn that there are still very honest people. I dropped my wallet here and still managed to pick it up untouched 2 days later. Save me a ton of hassle having to replace my driver's license, credit card, etc. Their bubble teas are great also.
The drinks had a very strong tea forward taste which is exactly what I was looking for. Most other bubble tea shops make drinks too watered down or just too sweet with no tea flavors. This place had great bubble waffles too. Not too doughy and not too sweet but also nice and crisp. Really great place
Although this place has a limited menu, it might be for the better as they seem to specialize in cheese lid and fruit tea. I got the fruit tea, 30% sugar and it was really good. A tint sour from the passion fruit and citrus, giving it good flavour and the tea was quite strong as well. For most places, 30% sugar fruit teas really lack flavour, showing how much syrup they add. I don’t think I’d go above 30% sugar though as it was the perfect sweetness and flavour in my opinion. A good topping to add would also be grassy jelly. We also had the red bean taiyaki and the texture reminded us of a scallion pancake, but in a good way. They also use red bean, instead of paste and in combination with the mochi, it was satisfying and not too sweet. I’d definitely come here if you’re a fruit tea or cheese lid lover. I know I’ll be coming back for sure!
Came across this place on Uber because of the nice bogo deals. Very strong tea just how I like it. The cheese foam teas come with a HUGE teabag. Also bubble waffles are very tasty, even after a long time of sitting. I will check them out in person when I am in the area to try the other teas.
Took 10 minutes to get my drink, and had to actively look for staff to help with ordering while most of their staffs were just sitting down and chatting with their friends. Rather than completing the orders, they randomly left to do something else in the middle of an order. Super unprofessional overall.Food: 2/5
taste like a joke, they taste funny and wish never ordered them, since they are $5 a piece, ridiculously expensive and tastes like made by amateurs. We also ordered a taro milk tea and green milk tea, I would give them three out of 10, but the price will reduce it to 2/10.
Ordered Chocolate bubble waffle and Red Bean Taiyaki! Both of them were really good! The café is really cute!
